I just get the feeling the team will be locked in tonight. Wake is going to be cocky. The hitters will be more focused and if the pitching staff can piece together another quality outing we hopefully get Skenes back for Thursday.

I’d like to see the rest of the interview. There has got to be some missing context here. Or is he really that smug of an a-hole? If so I hope this is played in LSU’s locker room before the game.

Let me just say this, if we they end up advancing to the Finals I will be the biggest Gator fan of all time. I hate Sully and everything that goes on in GVille, but at least they've won something. These mother frickers are worst than A&M fans.

Just for overall context, the question was how it seems like Wake has so much fun on the field. Minucci, the closer responded with:

But I can tell you without a doubt that watching them as I have my headphones on makes me so comfortable and so confident um it's what I have to do to get ready but i watch them have so much fun and I go out there and how can we lose? Not at all. I remember ULL back in ‘02 beat LSU in the regionals, which knocked them into the losers bracket. The ULL pitcher said something along the lines of “we can’t think about the CWS just yet we have the super regionals next week”. Well…LSU then beat them 2 straight games 12-2 both times. Baseball Gods are definitely watching!!
