As I said on page 2 of this thread:

There's more to this story and my guess is it involves more dumbassery.

And so it has begun.

JT is toast at LSU.. .Perret gonna have to work hard to get him off the charges and then maybe to a JUCO and see if he can make it back to D1, I doubt it though with these decision making skills

LSU has no running backs that the opponent will respect
What?

The qb will get no help from the very thin group of running backs. Does not bode well for the offense to be effective in 2025.
Did you think JT Lindsey was going to be RB1 this year?

I mean I understand that we have less depth now, but here's a look at what RB4 has done the last 3 years:

2022: Armoni Goodwin (by far our weakest RB room under Kelly - no bell cow)
45 carries 267 yards 5 TD

2023: Kaleb Jackson (still a weak RB room)
31 carries 165 yards 4 TD

2024: John Emery (injury, but 4th in total stats)
10 carries 61 yards 0 TD

What this really means is we're going to have walk ons getting reps at the end of blow outs instead of young scholarship backs. We'll use Johnson more. This doesn't really impact the team.

Doesn’t this guarantee that Jujuan Jonson is now a running back?

Isnt the team staying in a hotel during camp? If so, and the two week fugitive stay is accurate, wouldn't he not be at his dorm during their stay?

Even if this were the case, they allegedly stayed with him for almost two weeks. Camp started on 7/30. The guys were arrested 8/4.

I didnt think this needed to be said, but if your "friends" need a place to stay in a pinch, and there was no natural disaster, they probably are or were up to no good. You should probably decline the request.

As long as Durham and one of Berry or Jackson don't get hurt, this isn't a huge deal. It's not ideal, but I just laid out exactly how important RB4 is to LSU. Even less so under a team that will air it out more.

LSU has shown they can and will use both JuJuan Johnson and Zavion Thomas as RB/gadget guys.

If Durham gets "tired", Lindsey was not getting touches ahead of Jackson or Berry anyway.

Boot this thug off team. Illegal AR15 in dorm!! What an idiot!!! Well, he threw his football career away for his boys. Now he can join em in prison and they can celebrate their rewarding thug lifestyle. Forget about all the potential success lost. Potential success on the field and financial!! At least he can still say he’s hard or gangster or whatever this kid wants his persona to be. When will these young players realize what they are throwing away.

Defense attorney: how do you know it was locked?

The law-abiding citizens that were arrested wouldnt have entered without permission, right?

It's all going to come down to what is on his phone. It doesn't matter if he knew. It matters if you can prove that he knew.

Lindsey went to high school in Alexandria with the two suspects. It’s believed the pair had been staying in his LSU on-campus apartment for nearly two weeks, a source familiar with the case told the WAFB I-TEAM.

My "wait and see" has expired. Get rid of him.

With all the people we pay for recruiting and as analysts on staff, they should know every detail about these kids before they ever step on campus and should especially know what's going on while they're on campus.

This isn't a simple mistake by the kid. And this is absolutely a failure on the coaching staff. I'm not saying every kid should be a boy scout, but when you're vetting these kids, part of the conversations have to be about them not being fricking morons when they get to campus.

It means we should have kept John Emery. Always should have.

This is the statute:
quote:
RS 14:25

An accessory after the fact is any person who, after the commission of a felony, shall harbor, conceal, or aid the offender, knowing or having reasonable ground to believe that he has committed the felony, and with the intent that he may avoid or escape from arrest, trial, conviction, or punishment.
I haven't opened a criminal law book since I finished exams 1L year, but that's a ton of "intent" and "knowledge" to have to prove.

They have to show that he knowingly aided the offender, while knowing that he committed a crime, with the intent to help the offender avoid capture.

Like I said - unless they have texts to prove it, I find it highly unlikely this goes anywhere.

most likely scenario IMO...they want Lindsey to testify against his high school friend and are using this charge as leverage

Okay , thank you, dumbass, and that is why I asked with Lindsay’s absence, does this guarantee JuJuan Johnson, as a running back.

Not sure how you misinterpreted that.
