I thought Wade didn’t coach in the SEC tournament?

That would be correct.

The headline is technically true, though the first of those 25 conference games was 3/3/18, a win over Mississippi State. Wade is 22-2 in the past two conference seasons.

Gotta at least be in the building to notch the win.

This is a good team.... really clicking. Dare I say they are more balanced than last year. They have 6 guys that can get a double double and often times two players do every night.
I’ve been amazed at how much they have improved. Once Manning comes back, they will have a really solid 8 man rotation. Just wish we could shoot over 20% from three every once in a while.

Sorry. Love wade. But 1 sec title doesn't turn LSU into a blue blood. If we want to take that step then we need recruiting classes like the one Naz was in every year. You get those with keeping all the promises you gave will wade when he came here.

If it helps you sleep we weren’t beating Mich St even with Wade.

That’s a completely different stat but still an impressive one. You’re saying we’re on a 16 game winning streak in SEC reg season games between football and basketball.

He was saying that we currently have a winning streak against every single team in the SEC in both football and basketball.

Both are true and both are awesome. I love when the big 3 are dominant, makes cheering for Lsu year round fun. Can’t remember the last season where baseball was the weakest of the 3, but even they’ll be in the top 15 to start.

Alleva fell arse-backwards into Wade while hastily searching to find a coach no one else wanted

And yet that idiot tried to deny all that plus saying he regretted hiring Coach Wade

Alleva is a classless, tone deaf a-hole. For him to do that interview when he did was in such poor taste, but then again that should be no surprise should it

Especially when you think about these two teams combined (last year and this year) will produce 3 NBA draft picks?

Good talent, but certainly not superior talent compared to other teams in the league.

Please go around the league and outside of Kentucky who will have more players get drafted than LSU.

I think there can be more than 3 eventually drafted. I am almost certain Darius Days will eventually be drafted but he will also probably be a 4 year guy to fully develop his game but he can be a decent 3 in the NBA. It wouldn’t shock me if someone used a second round pick on Mays either.

1) Pay the man

The 1 positive that came out of this FBI stuff is his market value may actually be quite little as people are afraid of whatever the NCAA might do for at least another year. We might be able to keep him for his current deal for at least 1 more year, but normally, yeah, you pay a guy if he wins the conference 2 years in a row.

Will Wade is Alleva's biggest regret because it ultimately led to the people siding with WW over the admins and costing Joe his job.

Alleva hired Johnny Jones and Trent Johnson yet Will Wade who actually wins games is his biggest regret. Glad that POS is not AD anymore. Wade is the best thing to happen to basketball in decades.

Yes. Wade is the best thing to happen to LSU basketball. I’m sure Woodward is on board
Thank You Eddie Nunez!

I'm hoping Woodward is on board with the Kim Mulkey recruitment and a big enough contract to bring her home.

I get it. There's always going to be that "what if" factor associated with the run because Wade wasn't there. But LSU got as far that they probably "should" have. Michigan St. was simply just a better team in all aspects. They were more efficient on offense and significantly more efficient on defense. Would the game have been closer if Wade was there? Maybe. But Michigan St. didn't make it to the Final Four by accident.

I thought the suspension of Wade was completely unnecessary. But it didn't curtail LSU from likely reaching their ceiling last year.

Without the saboteurs Alleva and F’king, LSU maybe wins a couple of games in the SECT and gets in as a 2-seed.

There’s no way of knowing how far the team gets without the sabotage. Those two assholes were lucky to make it out of BR alive and intact.
