Others have already given the best tips.

I’d just say wear your USC gear proudly, embrace the initial ribbing and cock jokes you’ll get for being the opposing team, give some back, and then enjoy. LSU fans generally have no hate for Carolina.

The suggestions given above are great. But they’ll be crowded. If you’re driving in from Harahan, consider taking the Bluebonnet exit from I-10 to Highland Rd. Lunch at either George’s Southside or Sammy’s will be good. George’s has one of the best muffulettas to be found.

Park on the Southeast quadrant of campus. There’s a map on the LSU Athletics. There’s free parking at Parker Coliseum but that fills pretty early. Anyway, we can get home to NOLA in 90 minutes post-game going Highland Rd to I-10.

Have a great day!

MOSTLY TRUE!

Alabama every other year and ONE big SEC game at Night per season.

That's it for the "Full Tiger Stadium Experience."

PIMger Stadium now full of Corporate Freebies, Wine & Cheeser's and Newbie See & Be Seen Attention W's that DGAF about LSU Football or the University!

I just watched a “Bucket List- 1st time at Tiger Stadium- reaction, recap& review” 40 min YouTube video; couple in their 30s, big college football fans, been to Iron Bowl, Penn St WhiteOut, OSU-Mich, lots of SEC games, etc… finally made it to “night game at LSU” to see what all the hype was about, for the Ole Miss game-

And were totally in awe, blown away- best experience of their lives, best sporting event ever, the hype does not prepare you for the intensity, both say they are true believers for life and will forever testify that night LSU games are the greatest show on earth, a life-changing transcendental experience, and pretty much are totally ruined for the rest of their lives because every game every stadium they attend will fall painfully short and disappointing in comparison…

They weren’t as eloquent as SVP in trying to articulate what makes it so indescribably special and unique, but they were genuinely enthusiastically converts for life. Look em up, (try youtube search “first trip to Tiger Stadium”? Don’t remember exact title) it’s a great take thru fresh eyes!

(I was there, and I tend to agree-it’s on my Top Ten “greatest nights in Tiger Stadium” list for sure!)

If you find yourself venturing off towards river road/skip Bertman dr, we have a nice large tailgate right on the corner of skip and Nicholson called Hoppy’s Corner. Pull up a chair and enjoy.

Your wife ought to know what to do. I graduated that year with a girl from South Carolina named Katrina.

I saw that YouTube review last year after the game. It was pretty good.

I took my girlfriend to that game and it was her first college football game ever. It was amazing and she loved it. I think she's in the same boat with every game from now on falling short of that experience.

Have a great time. I would highly suggest getting a ride share or something to the game and screw trying to park. You can spend two hours plus after the game in your car in traffic or hanging out at tailgates

I get so tired of people complaining about traffic after games. I’ve been going to all the home games for decades and after a 20 minute walk to my vehicle I’m out of the parking area and into free flowing traffic within 20 minutes. Even for the big games. And I stay until the clock reads 0:00

If you are sitting in traffic for 2 hours then you are doing it wrong.

Amen Brother! Even in the biggest games I am to my vehicle and on my way in 25 min walking. Also the traffic is moving in my intended direction and I am home in Zachary within about an hour total

Screw the food joints just go tailgate all day. You will find plenty of food and fun from tailgaters. Do the whole day on campus!!! If you need tickets I have four extra on 45 yard line section 302.

As you walk by the tailgates by the stadium, wear your colors proudly, be a good sport and don't be a dick and you will probably score free food and a beer or two. Act like an arse and BEWARE!

BTW terrier, one of my best experiences at an away game was in Columbia I think in 2007. Great fans, great great weather, and the game as well (LSU won).

2007 LSU/SC was in BR. That was the Matt Flynn fake FG, toss over his head game.
