Id definitely check out walkons, chimes, and visit the lsu hall of fame behind the grandstands on the 3rd base side before or during the game. Can definitely go behind home plate and grab from a variety of beers.

Stop along the way and pick up some hot boudin to share. You’ll make a lot of friends.

As others have mentioned, definitely check out the LSU BSB HOF on the ground level behind the grandstand and also Mike the Tiger's habitat just north of Tiger Stadium on N. Stadium Drive. I'd also suggest Louie's for breakfast (get the hash browns) and the LSU AgCenter Dairy Store 3 blocks past Tiger Stadium on S. Stadium Drive for the student made "Tiger Bite" ice cream. Oh and avoid eye contact with the K Lady at all costs, lest you injure your retinas

geauxpurple, you are correct sir. Nothing like the atmosphere of the Old Box.

I would hit up Chimes over Walk On's and I love both. I would also try to get to TJ Ribs during the weekend. They have a great brunch on Sunday. The LSU paraphernalia is pretty awesome

Just a 'heads up' to keep an eye on the start time for the baseball game on Saturday. There's some chatter out there that the game time may be moved due to the football spring game. So, you might get the opportunity to take in both after all.

The Great Louisiana State University and Agricultural & Mechanical College's Mighty Fighting Tigers welcome you to Skip Bertman's Field of many Championships. Take a picture of the billboard in right field, Friend.

I was at Oregon State's game vs. Long Beach this past Saturday. Will not be as chilly in Baton Rouge.

My buddy I coach with was there. 47 and showers...yep, that's what we got to deal with in Oregon. D-Bags aren't as strong this year. We just laid an egg against the Zags yesterday. Mid-week games expose our weakness, little pitching depth.

If that's true, that would be awesome to see both! We just had our Spring Game last weekend. More of a situational scrimmage but still fun to go to and check out the 2nd and 3rd string

You’ll be disappointed. Terribly designed park with cheap metal bleachers but tons of suites. No real feel or atmosphere. And since we suck this year it will be mostly half empty Friday. If they win Friday Saturday will be close to full. If not even emptier than Friday. Oh and the food sucks and is in no comparison to LA food culture. I’ll be downvoted to hell but it’s true and you can comeback and tell me so after the weekend. Have fun though.
LSU took a relic (the old box) with feel and a living atmosphere. A real blue collar stadium that was loud and set up like a “ballpark”. Tore it down so they could make money on the site the old box sat. Then built a park with nothing in mind but turning a profit. Literally from the mile walk to the stadium by 80% of the fans to metal bleachers and shitty food their greed has ruined the LSU baseball experience. Recruiting has suffered and the program has suffered all over a dollar. That’s the cold hard truth of the matter. And I bleed purple and gold love LSU and donate money to it.

It was ahead of its time once.
No it wasn’t. It was sold that way but besides the player amenities, nothing else was ever ahead of anything. And it didn’t take long for renovations to take place all over the country to catch up and in some cases pass what we have for our players.

people are gonna shite on the stadium. But, it is what you make it. We are there every home weekend and I always enjoy it.

wear your Beaver shirt, wonder around the grounds, most people are going to be nice. pretty sure we've had people from every state at our tailgate at one time or another.
