Anyone have video of his reaction? Wasn’t expecting him to get drafted this early so wasn’t tuning. Wife works with his step mom so was hoping to see it if possible. TIA

Will probably turn into another Hunter. Best of luck man. Probably turn into an all pro like Hunter, a disappointment in college and a stud in the league

I don’t think Hunter was a disappointment in college, he was just horribly misused. If I recall, Chavis had him playing contain and he rarely got to rush the passer.

Put him on offense to pass block. He pass blocked exceptionally well this year.

Let's see...
*Stayed home when he could've gone anywhere in the country coming out of HS.
* Year 1 Played decent as true freshman on a sinking ship. Coach O canned.
*Tore his ACL Game 1 of year 2
*Year 3 played on arguably the worst defense in school history.
*Played under 3 different DL coaches in 3 seasons. Would've been 4 if he stayed.
*Played in Matt House's terrible scheme.
Smith didn't play up to his potential here... but let's keep it real, Kelly assembled a terrible defensive staff when he got here. Literally every player on that side of the ball regressed from 2022 to 2023.

Against TAMU that was good by holding the edge and forcing Manziel beat them with the pass, which he never did. Against others…

Dude received a ton of undue hate on here no matter what he did. I'll always wonder how much differently our 2022 season goes if he'd never leaped in celebration and tore his ACL on the landing. I'm rooting for him big time in the league.

No. Hunter was really good but poorly used in college. Smith was just downright terrible.
