Verge gets it, and is on board with Wade doing whatever it takes for LSU to win. frick the haters.

I dont follow much basketball recruiting besides LSU but just got a ESPN notification minutes ago that Ole Miss is signing 2 Australian pro players. Why the outrage when we do it but everyone else is doing the same stuff?

This is verge basically saying burn the fricking thing down. If the rules allow it and no one else acted on it first and even it appears “unethical” I don’t give a frick and neither should you. Fix the system or we are going to frick it and win.

Love this from Verge. Everyone else is exploiting the exact same loopholes, so why should we play nice and put ourselves at a disadvantage? Just win, period

What Verge left out is an awful lot of coaches are recruiting the same guys and some teams like Nebraska, Purdue, Illinois, Michigan and others all signed players last year just like the one's WW has signed and you heard nary a peep.
But because it's Will Wade he gets castigated by the same folks who did the same thing last time around. It needs to be called out. Mascona ain't always my bag but he did a very good job of pointing out the hypocrisy and double standard a few weeks back.

I was skeptical of Verge, but I like that he's standing tall on this.
