The adversity this guy has faced to come back to LSU is pretty insane. Most of it yes was self imposed, but not all of it. To top it all off, he had to pass a class while his town was 4 feet underwater and classes had been delayed and cancelled.
The man has earned his spot back on the team. I really hope he makes the most of it, not just for my own self interest of LSU football, but also for his own personal gain. Sometimes you don't know what you have until it is all but taken away from you. Way to fight through it Valentine and Geaux Tigers!

Texted a friend of mine on the LSU staff yesterday and asked him if Valentine is really as tough to handle as all of the hype suggests.
His response,
"No, 5x!!!!!"

Like everybody else here, for the longest time I never though Valentine would never suit up for LSU, but he has proven everybody wrong and all of us ought to be ecstatic he did.
All the reports say this guy is a run stuffing fool, so the is going to get double teamed a lot which frees up our other D-lineman and LB's. You can guarantee the other D-lineman and LB'ers are going to love playing with him.
I cant wait to watch us play Bama and see this him destroy any Alabama running back trying to run up the middle. Valentine is going to make RB's afraid to run up the middle, which is nothing but great for us.

That's what has me so excited about TV. It's not just message board bullshite. We hype up unproven talents endlessly on here, it's just what we do.
But when you see so many quotes from coaches and players essentially saying "no, seriously, he's a monster" you just know he's gotta be the real deal.

Not enough emphasis is put on the point that it would have been easier for TV to go to lots of other places.
We have gifted players who are invited to play for LSU who chose to go elsewhere, either initially or after getting a look at he depth chart, degree of commitment required, etc. go elsewhere. Names come to mind.
TV ALWAYS wanted to be a Tiger and worked very hard to get eligible.
I hope to be as loyal to TV as an LSU fan.
We have gifted players who are invited to play for LSU who chose to go elsewhere, either initially or after getting a look at he depth chart, degree of commitment required, etc. go elsewhere. Names come to mind.
