I still recognize them all as wins. I hope Miles wins the lawsuit and gets elected to the Hall of Fame.

Why do y’all give a shite? How does it negatively impact your life in anyway?

It’s great that LSU vacated Les’s wins. Obviously the crimes he committed, contributed directly to winning the games on the field.

Seems to me that taking away bowl game eligibility is quite a bit of power.

Until the big10, sec and acc form their own league. It's coming.

We can all dislike Guice for his behavior, but it's stupid to erase what he did on the field. Did we delete Cecil Collins' stats?

It’s not stupid. LSU doesn’t want to be associated with a pos. They already had to pay 2million in the lawsuit because of that idiot. It’s their record book so they can choose who they want to recognize.

My point is that records and stats should not be subjective, or open to adjustment due to popularity or other things. If you want to delete someone's because they were ineligible, that's one thing. If you want to do so because they turned out to be a bad person, that's another thing entirely.

Billy Cannon was convicted and sent to federal prison. We didn't delete his stats and disavow his Heisman, did we?

Are we supposed to act like the games were never played? Will they refund our money spent on those games "that never happened?" Make believe world, like what people post on social media. So dumb. The man won the games, he shouldn't have to sue to get credit for what he ACTUALLY ACCOMPLISHED. Rant over

And If I was LSU, I would tell the NCAA "I Want My Wins Back Baw"
What kinda power does the NCAA have anyway. Toothless and will be out of the Bigtime Football World Soon.

One has nothing to do with the other.

What a simple-minded point of view.

Future actions don’t change past facts.

Les was probably a bigger piece of shite and wasted so much talent. So I don’t see much difference if we use that as a criteria

Vacating wins is gay as frick but Scotty boy bends over for the ncaa

I agree it’s dumb. Just like NCAA when they took away Reggie Bush Heisman. He was still the best. At least they came to their senses on that one.

Vacating wins does not mean the other team won.

Which highlights how silly the whole idea is.

Those teams essentially lost to…no one? It’s dumb and meaningless.

Are you really asking why people on a sports message board care about people subjectively changing the records of games that were played?

Quite literally nothing on the Rant is impactful to any poster’s life. It’s a topic of interest just like any other. What are you here?

Let's not forget that Les was a big part of acquiring that talent.

And using the word "gay" to show disdain only shows how illiterate one is.

That was my point yesterday. It's almost as dumb as vacating the hiesman from Bush.... and we saw how that ended up.

It’s a punishment for a violation. Is it dumb, well opinions vary, but as a punishment it’s pretty effective.

Why not vacate the losses too. If they vacate the loses I think he would be over .600 and eligible for the HOF.

Seems like a reasonable compromise

But logically, since we vacated our win vs A&M in '12, they won the west, not Bama. And either UGA or Aggy would play ND. And either Richt or Sumlin is still there. Les was so far ahead of his time.
No. Vacated wins just erase a loss from the opponents record, but it doesn't give them a win.

Bama was 7-1 and A&M was 6-2. With LSU vacating the win, A&M would only be 6-1.

7-1 > 6-1
