I guess they could change the time of the game because it's an emergency situation, but seems like they'd try to keep it at 11am
Yeah, that screenshot was sent to me as well...not sure on the validity of the time. Seems like for TV purposes they'd keep it the same.

There's no way they'd change the kickoff time. Too much $$$$ involved with the networks.

Charlotte is out. Panthers, Union, & NFL are worried about field being torn up prior to the game on Sunday which will cause injuries to NFL players.

I'm assuming even if the game is moved to BR, a certain percentage of the ticket sales/transfers would still go to South Carolina.
How did this work when the LSU game was moved to Arizona State in 2005?
ETA: I know it got all fricked up because they never made the return trip.

Whoever wrote that can't spell very well, and according to him, the time of the game will be changed.

ESPN can easily swap games around in the 11 am timeslot and put the LSU game wherever it needs to be,

I wouldn't mind the Athens, GA scenario.

Just wish we had a good enough football field in Augusta to host the game.

the panthers have a bye, and then an away game the following week
So are they saying it would be too torn up for 2 weeks from now?

The most logical thing to do is to allow SC the normal visiting team allotment, allow season ticket holders to claim there seats if desired, and then sell the rest to the general public.
But this would be an LSU ticket office operation, so I'll assume logic would be out the window

This is my thoughts also. Pay expenses and give any profit to South Carolina. Makes us look good and helps them with recovery.

Panthers don't have another home game until October 25.

I envision a will-call line all the way up to Highland.

I believe ASU donated $1 mil back to hurricane relief efforts.
We would do the same if the game was played here.

I have no idea, but as others have suggested it wouldn't be surprising if ticket sales went towards the disaster relief.
I'm going to be intrigued to see how they go about selling tickets. Do they offer tickets to USC fans first? What about LSU fans that already have a ticket?

Both RFK and FedEx Field are free on Saturday.
It makes absolutely no sense to move it to DC, but damnit, make it happen Tanner / Alleva.

My mind is a bit fuzzy with that given everything that was going on, but I believe if you showed up in Tempe with a game ticket to the Baton Rouge game it was exchanged for a ticket there.
A few things that made that easy:
1. Very few people from Louisiana were going to make that trip given the distance and situation.
2. ASU doesn't have the season-ticket base that LSU does to accommodate.

There is a reason Panthers chose to fix field now. The field wouldn't be ready for Saturday.
