Guy seems like such a giant dickhead. Maybe if he didn’t have the personality of a sheet of drywall he would’ve had more success here

Probably not. His time at UF was when LSU and the staff mattered more than the dollar signs.
Obviously not 100% upfront with what was happening under the table, but there was a premium to get premium away from LSU with Saban/early Miles recruiting.

He didn’t say anything bad there. He just basically said it was too hard to recruit players in Louisiana away from LSU. That’s pretty cool to hear.

Saban was able to have success recruiting in Louisiana because he was the Coach here. If he never was the Coach at LSU he wouldn’t have had that success.

Helps his implication of cheating. Peterson being bought is documented by paperwork. Google the Willie Lyles case. Oregon and Tennessee(Kiffins one year reign) took the bulk of the punishment. We got knocked for DJ McCarthy and Akiem Hicks instead after self reporting.
Meyer tried and failed. Imagine a world where Urban didn't cheat or recruit murderers and criminals. My least favorite coach of all time.

Bobby Bowden had no problem in LA
All started to change when Saban said LSU has to built fence around state
He also should be credited with increasing interest in Houston area. Would do local radio spots there which would piss Texas coaches off
