Is it really a mystery. Daniels had been getting most of the first team reps and Nuss had a minor injury for a week or 2.

VolTiger must’ve been fired from his custodian position
This is the biggest decisions LSU will make in any year next to choosing a coach. And not a peep from Vol Tiger nor TigerLawye nor anyone we might trust. WTF?

My inside sources say Howard.

What I KNOW is that there is one thing everyone from CBK to all of us fans want: we want to beat Florida State next Sunday in NOLA. Because I KNOW that, I believe BK/MD will choose the best qb to get that done, to start on Sunday night.
What I HOPE is this: that the choice was/is hard because both kids have good upside and good skills and good smarts/leadership. If this has been the case, we will do well with either qb starting.
We fans just need to be ready to make the Dome rock.

injury for a week or 2.
He sat out of moving drills for like 2 days, that's it.
But I like how the retrofitting narrative now is that Nuss had a two week injury that prevented him from getting the job.

I promise that you’ll know when someone knows. The first page will be a shitshow.
Is there any chance it’s not Daniels?
Is there any chance that this job isn’t going to be “open” for a while?
To me, we already know.
Edited for clarity

Why is it so important for you to know? Doesn’t change anything.

Ok, he missed 2 days. He wasn’t going to be the starter anyway.
JD was getting lost of #1 reps even before Nuss’ minor injury.

What’s the over/under on threads bitching about whichever QB gets the starting job when it’s announced?

is that the guy Kelly has selected is a great passer and has decent speed.
I heard he was a decent passer and had great speed. WTF?

But with no sighting or even a hint
No hint? Really?
On what planet does a 3 year starter transfer to a below .500 program to "try out" for the QB position?
Everyone with a brain knows JD was promised the start from the get go. Myles recognized this, and sniffed out their bullshite, because they werent men enough to tell him the truth in time for him to transfer

Assuming it’s Daniels
How much of a leash does he get if he throws some bad balls or picks in a close game?
I feel like we are going to see both kids play a ton this year as both bring so much to the table while also having their own risky style of play

If he thinks he can win this year- Daniels
If he thinks he can when this year, but he's not so sure...- Daniels
If he thinks this year is a rebuilding year- Daniels...until he is proven right then he plays Nuss
If he knows we are 6-6 or 7-5- Nuss
But as a competitor...he thinks he can Coach well enough this year to win so I suspect the guy with 30 starts over the guy with one.
Daniels

It was impressive Daniels getting the receivers to put in work with him in cali. I’m impressed with that it shows leadership. Something you’d think Brennan would’ve done but didn’t. It seems Daniels earned the job if he’s named starter.

Pretty sure it’s Daniels
Nuss will get some playing time too.
considering Daniels with his mobility has a higher than average chance of getting dinged, they’re going to want nuss to be ready to roll.

I think the coaches might have had something to do with who the receivers worked with.

Probably will name Brennan tomorrow.

Its gonna be daniels, and we're gonna melt because he is bad at intermediate passes.
