Link to my thread from a few weeks ago.

This new stuff has been in the works for a while. All ex players are basically working against LSU, and speaking openly to anyone who asks......

100% LSU is going to get slapped with lack of IC, and tennis was the lynchpin. I cant explain enough how ridiculous it is our ADs, both of them, let it get to this

When I was editor of the Reveille, we stopped covering the women's tennis team after Julia Sell — for some reason — threatened a lawsuit against our reporter. When we did cover them, Sell frequently sat in on interviews we did with players to intimidate them.

This is good work.

Its a football player beating the shite out of the tennis player here
quote:

In fall 2012, a player called the police after witnessing a teammate’s boyfriend commit domestic violence during a Saturday night team outing at a Tigerland bar, the players said. According to the three players, Sell held a team meeting about the incident on the following Monday, when she directed anger at the player who called police.

The incident occurred during Julia Sell’s first semester at the helm of the program. Keri Frankenberger was a senior on that team. Her experience under Sell is consistent with accounts of two of her teammates, as well as those of four players who succeeded her.

“She's foul,” Frankenberger said. “Any other coaches around the country who have met her will agree. I do not feel even remotely a part of LSU anymore because of her.”

So now you have the tennis coach burying it, Verge burying it, and they werent the only admins to know....

Thats INSTITUTIONAL level of shite

And both Alleva, and Woodward, were made aware of all of these complaints

Yet, Sell never was fired. Firing her is admitting you knew all along......

the biggest question anyone should ask is why Joe Alleva and the athletic department covered so hard for Julia Sells.

It’s women’s tennis, no one would have batted an eye if they were fired yet they continued to allow them to commit blatant recruiting violations and now all of this. Just ridiculous

She should have been run out of town the second NCAA came to town on them the first time

Its so much more than O

Both Alleva, and Woodward, were made aware of all of these complaints

Yet, Sell never was fired. Why would they not fire a coach who is not very successful in a sport that nobody cares about? Hmmmmmmm, is it because maybe they were complicity in the original cover up due to the abuser being a football player?

I guess they will now try to fire her and say "OH MY GOD WE NEVER KNEW"

But these players talking will bury them if they try that

I think that’s the question. Why does football carry the burden of administrators committing Title IX violations?

we talking about tennis?

not football, not basketball, but tennis?

would be truly sad if such an avoidable situation brought down the whole operation. Sell sounds like a terrible person who has no business anywhere near amateur athletes

So let me get this straight ......

Our compliance dept is fricking Adolph hitler when it comes to smoking weed and piss tests..........yet they are rug sweepers and bunch of cucks that look the other way on real criminal acts committed by low to high tier teams/athletes at LSU.

Hmmmmmmm, That’s a lot to comprehend.

Sell would frequently lie to her players, seven interviewed players said. Two women recounted that Sell told one player that another had said hurtful comments about them. The players’ relationship grew cold for a while, until later, when they discovered that Sell had lied. Those two women were Johnson and Jade Lewis.

“She has a way of twisting stories and pinning people against each other,” Johnson said. “She wants to be in control. She needs to be in control.”

Hard hitting journalism here...sounds like a bunch of a teenage drama

The assault story is a big matter though

If we get hit with lack of institutional control everyone in the entire LSU athletic department needs to be fired. Sorry not sorry
