Great news
LSU has done all they could do
Not sure why anyone wouldn’t be happy about this
There’s absolutely nobody who is gonna sign a contract that says you can’t take a bigger job lol
Of course you can’t tie the guy down from going to the pros but it shows a good degree of commitment from both sides
This is the best you could realistically expect in terms of a contract

Brady is obviously awesome but I'm excited to see how he helps develop Brennan.
it has been stated by several on here and joe burrow himself that Coach E is the coach that has been working with him since his arrival. specifically his footwork and reading defenses.
it seems to me that just about everyone on here disregards Coach E's contributions and gives ALL of the credit to Brady. trust me, I value Brady highly but what LSU needs to do is not frick with partnership that E and Brady have. sure, gradually teach him the ropes to be an OC but I think giving him the job of developing QB's isn't a good idea (yet).

Met with a collective FRICK! From all the other teams in the SEC

It was dumb to give Rhule 8.5 a year yet here we are
Posted on 1/11/20 at 7:18 pm to 7Tiger7
Brady is interviewing Tuesday for the OC job at Carolina. He gone. Tepper said the wallet is wide open. Rhule can get whoever he wants for whatever they want.

Pretty much what I predicted would happen—he knows he has to hone his skills as an OC..
I've heard the NFL wants to see if he's a one hit wonder with Burrow

Go look up salaries for OCs in the NFL, not one OC is close to 4.5mill$ , Rhule is getting 6mill$, comparison Harbaugh makes more than that, he can’t win the B1G West or East or whatever the fk it is!

I was expecting him to get in the 1.5-2 million range
Great news for the LSU program. Congrats!

Locking him up is important.
Congrats to him for the good contract.

LSU has done all they can at this time.
Worked out all other college coordinator positions and set a good starting number if any NFL team calls. LSU will probably match/exceed most new NFL offers. Then Brady gets to decide.

Suck a nut. Damn the negativity on here

Pretty clear nobody in this thread has ever read, written, or negotiated a contract.
Y'all out of your minds.
There is no contract that LSU could invent that would prevent Brady from going to Carolina if that's what he wants.
The guy has an MOA in his hand if he wants to stay here. Good on both sides.

sign with the Panthers right after the NC when they offer him 4.5 a year
You know that would make him by far the highest paid coordinator in the NFL?

Mark my words bud. Inside sources I’m hearing say the interview is Tuesday and it’s no secret the amount of money Tepper has and what he will pay for Rhule to get who he wants. And he wants Brady. Money talks.

Great news . He ain’t going nowhere . He wouldn’t have signed a MOA if he was going to bolt . He would have just sat tight .....

If someone in the NFL wants to throw big money at him, then God Bless and Good Luck.
But let's be objective a second: sure, the play calling and formations have been a lot more aggressive.
I haven't seen Burrow throw many passes that hit the ground; he's always in the vicinity of the receivers. And Jefferson, Chase and Marshall have been impossible to shut down- not all three on the same play. Burrow has excelled at finding which one is the least covered, and puts the ball out for them to catch. And they then catch it.
You can run this exact offense with a lesser QB, and it wouldn't be as prolific. Or more average WRs, same thing.

Rhule is getting 8.5 million per year. Harbaugh is getting $5 million (and some weird $2 million life insurance kicker, which Michigan is a partial beneficiary of).
