I can see someone wanting to pay as much as they need, but again he hasn't been an actual coordinator, handled a team of assistants, anything. Someone has to be desperate to pay more than $1 million.

I repeat, the money won't be the deciding factor.

Why would the days after the game be tense if there is a MOA in place for him to return to LSU?

Yeah I don't get the celebration. Nothing has changed at all.

It might be a motivation tactic for the team.

Always feels good when one of your coaches gets locked up, whether it really is long term or not.

It is definitely setting a bar for an NFL team to approach Brady now though. Some of the teams that may have approached him may not now.

Deal protects LSU from losing Brady to college asst jobs, but provides flexibility for a jump to the #NFL

So he still might be gone then

Did you miss the part that said “jump to nfl?” Why would he want that in the contract? He’s gone.

My thoughts exactly.

I think he’s gone if he gets a good nfl offer.

Do you want to retain him or not?

I swear it’s like some of you have never been a part of a negotiation before

I think it’s in there for next year or the year after. Repeat the same success with Brennan and he can have his pick of NFL OC jobs.

Dude, if he was content to stay at LSU, he would not want flexibility to jump to NFL. Do you remember saban or are you truly as stupid as the board thinks you are? Brady leaving is not an if, it is a when.

First off, has anyone said what an MOA is? Memorandum of Agreemeent?

So he either signs with LSU (no other college teams) or picks the pros. Sounds like a contract is agreed upon with LSU, but he wants the freedom to hear the NFL offers. Definitely something his agent worked out.
