1.Fourchon camp incident

2.Sissy blue shirt incident

3.Running around publicly with whores & post "had sex" pics in bed on da Gram.

None of those individually are enough to fire him in season with cause but all of them together create a reason especially if the poor on field play continues.

I respectfully disagree. You omitted important facts:

1. It’s not just one loss this season. It’s the precipitous fall last year and this year, blaming everything on Pellini, then not improving at all after forcing LSU to pay Pellini’s buy out
2. The immature pic in bed with a slut
3. The fishing camp incident where he acted like trash
4. The immature interaction with a UCLA fan
5. The hiring of inexperienced and unproven coordinators
6. The lack of preparation for the UCLA game

There’s other things like sh*tting on Aranda last year

My question to you is, if your son was getting recruited by D1 schools to play football, would you want O to coach him?

I can't speak to the other 2 points that you make, but here's my take on Fourchon. Ed has been with the team for over 6 years. If that camp owner was really a big time booster, don't you think Ed would know him?

Keep in mind that all we have is rumor. If there really were video don't you think we would have seen it?

I just feel like there are also other things that have gone on as well that we don't even know about yet along with this list. The type of stuff that leaks after a coach gets canned.

Title IX- you can forget this as a justification for cause termination. If the evidence was there, our woke president would have already fired him.

him not being fired for it yet doesn’t mean anything one way or another.
Once the smoke clears, if there is cause he will be gone.
But you can’t do that until due process has played out.

there is another school in this very division that won a Natty with:
A. a coach with an abysmal previous HC gig
B. an other worldly transfer QB that completely transformed the team around him.

they fired him 2 seasons later and went back to National Title game the first season with the new coach.

I’ll post what I did before :

I honestly think Coach O is on a game to game basis right now. I think the next Bad boss that’s not Bama could end his career here.

That could change depending on how he performs before Florida. But I think even a bad loss there could cost him his job depending on how he’s performed. Even if he wins all the games before that but barely, he could still be in trouble with a bad loss there.

I would say I give coach o’s chances of being here next year 10%-25%. Less than eight wins and I think he’s gone. If he somehow manages to make it through the end of the season. You can’t make enemies and go mediocre. Just ask Herman and Gus.

Plus bc O has made so many bad hires the amount of money paid to coaches that sucked is a lot. Not to mention one is suing the university lol. O has done a terrible job the last two years. It better improve on and off the field quick or he’s gone. with the talent he’s recruited 8-4 would be an embarrassment less than that would be a joke

I hope so….nothing good comes from firing a coach mid-season.

You think Ed doesn’t get fired if he loses to CMU and goes 0-6 in SEC following a blowout loss to Bama?

If he loses to CMU, he won't get the chance to be 0-6 and lose to Bama. He probably won't be the coach Monday if that happens.

Do you honestly believe a booster would want to publicly release the video at a time where the there's chaos around the program? Do you think Ed personally knows every booster? It's been said that the booster emailed a copy of the video to the LSU administration. You don't think that they asked & informed that booster to not release the video publicly as to not bring another black eye to the football program? Does Ed not have a past & present history of challenging people physically if he doesn't like what they have to say?

The only thing you accomplish by firing him mid season is tanking the recruiting class. Wait until after the early signing period.

I wish we had someone on staff to take over so he could be let go. But don’t see that happening. I agree they are waiting on the investigation to find something, I have a feeling CEO will be found guilty of something if we keep playing like shite.
Cregg was fired for some BS infraction so CEO set a standard for using a situation to make a needed change, 2 years removed from the Moore Award. He will end up in the same situation.

There have been worse seasons, birdman. But taking the off the field stuff into account, that does play a part. Regardless, when you're taking about Woodward firing O for cause after 2 games, it's gotten ugly.

That's not how this works at all. You fire mid-season and make your hire in late November/ early December. You don't make coaching decisions based on one recruiting class.

half of y'all would rather see somebody get fired rather than watch a game. happens every season. les miles, maineiri, now coach orgeron. what do all three coaches have in common....?

If Saban had stuck around the same thing would have happened to him. Imagine if we spend half as much time and money supporting the team rather than resisting coaching.

There is an alpha in the AD's office. The president isn't making these types of calls anymore baw.

Termination otherwise ties LSU to the buyout. That is alot of money paid out essentially because of losing the first game of the season with an entirely new coaching staff.

To you, and me, that's a lot of money. It's only a 5 million dollar difference. If it's need to be done, it'll be done.

That's not the way this works. Not only is the product on the field really bad, he's also completely embarrassing the university.

When the product on the field doesn't improve over the course of a season and then the following season arrives and it doesn't look much different than the prior one and we keep getting the same excuses from the head coach, people are going to voice their displeasure.

It's not about wanting O fired because someone just doesn't like him. Since the Clemson game, the football program has been in a dive under his leadership. We're 6-6 in the last twelve games. That's a fact. If it continues, and we look just as lost on offense as we have for the last year and a half, lose Moo State and/or Auburn, for the betterment of the program, he'll be fired.

I was on board the O train and ate crow after 2019 but it's evident that the assistants did the work. Brady, Burrow, Aranda are all gone and we're on the third OC/DC in 3 years. He's made terrible hires and doesn't know how to fix the issues he's claiming he's done now for over a year and a half.

People are supporting the team, that's why a majority of people are ticked off.
