I never said that. I said “live up here” as in up… north… of Louisiana.

Haters gone hate. Till they get a ring, they aint shite.
They will most likely win the series, but still gotta make it happen in Geauxmaha like we did.

I would to knowing how many national championships they’ve won in baseball

Then you never experienced a loss in Ark. The LR War Memorial fans are the worst.

When it comes to football I honestly don’t know what’s worse, a win or a loss. They act terrible either way, the exception being a blow out win for LSU

Same can be said for Lafayette. Deserved or not, the hate is real.
This.
If someone has a LSU hat and USL shirt or just a purple or gold shirt on at a Cajuns baseball game. The crowd will stop watching the game and start degrading the person and make them take it off. They have an unhealthy hatred from a team that doesn’t care about them or have anything to do with them. At least Arkansas is in our conference

THE symbol of Arkansas baseball. That second basemen wanted to be the hero so bad. And I was pulling for arky there against the pedo beavs. Oh well. What a funny moment.

I mean, I do not believe that to be true at all. I have plenty of friends who are LSU fans and especially in baseball, it seems to be a mutual respect type of rivalry.
Every trip I make to Arkansas - or other SEC states, I wear LSU apparel. Without fail, Arkansas fans express hatred of LSU more than any other team we play.
Someone else posted it earlier, and it’s true. They really want to beat us, and we couldn’t care less about them - and that pisses them off.

I have a cousin's son who played OL for Arkansas. They love LSU. Just not when they play.

I agree about Lafayette, still way more LSU fans than ULL fans. Many of the ULL fans like both schools

It's like they blame us for missing a foul ball.
We should let a foul ball drop by 1B just to remind them.

I grew up in South Arkansas as a Tiger fan. Five years ago I moved to NWA. There are two distinct fan bases when it comes to Arkansas. The fans in South Arkansas ( including those in Little Rock) can be extremely obnoxious to Tiger fans, and I attribute it to jealousy of LSU success. Most of those fans, I would say more than 99%, never attended the UofA and more than likely have never gone to a game in Fayetteville. They are Hog fans only because their granddaddy and dad were, so they carry on the tradition. They have no other sports teams to cheer for, and get their information from The Buzz 103.7. Most cannot even hold an intelligent conversation about any other team or sport. They have no idea, and no interest. 90% of their wardrobe has something to do with UofA. Oh, and I was told, emphatically by several, to get the frick out of Arkansas unless I was going to be a fan, and how could I live in 'THEIR" state and wear that ugly arse purple and yellow. And they are serious. In NWA, it's a totatlly different world. Maybe has to do with their education level and knowledge there are other teams besides Pigs.

Sure they have the broom ready for a sweep.
Let’s hope the Tigers wake up

I spent a little time in Russelville ar. You are correct. Never seen that much hate. If you have an LSU hat or shirt and they keep seeing you. They will get their frick LSU shirt out of the closet and come around.
The hate for LSU by Arkansas Fans is because we ruined their shot at gack to back undefeated seasons and national championships in Football when we upset them in the 1966 Cotton Bowl. It's true and it runs very deep.
From Wiki about the game.
quote:
Arkansas, defending national champions, entered the game on a 22-game winning streak.[4] The 1965 Hogs defeated the #1 Texas Longhorns and #9 Texas Tech Red Raiders in Fayetteville, Arkansas. Despite this, the Razorbacks were ranked #1 for only one week, during which they defeated North Texas 55–20. #2 Michigan State beat #6 Purdue on the same weekend, giving the Spartans the #1 spot in the AP Poll.
