All my experiences in Fayetteville have been awesome. Football and baseball.....Fans were fun.
Little Rock- WORST experiences ever. Shitty fans, shitty people. So it's weird. I can never just classify Hog fans as great or shitty....depends on where you are.

As someone who’s spent a lot of time in Arkansas, I’ve never really seen that much hate. Just normal fans razzing other fan bases.

I’m on a work trip with about 6 hog fans right now. They’re pretty confident but there’s no hatred being shown

I love it.
Hog fans are like Charlie Brown.
They are convinced that this time, this goddamn time they are going to kick the FG. They attack it with confidence and commitment. Then voila, that ball is pulled back and there they are flat on their back.
But to their credit, they get themselves up, dust themselves off and believe beyond belief that next time will be different.

I quit listening about 6 years ago. XM radio is my “go to”. Not all but many hate us. We replaced Texas as the “big rival”.

I’ll make it really simple. Older fans like yourself hate Texas as that was your true rival. Once Arkansas joined the SEC, the hate you have for Texas was applied to LSU by the younger generation of Hog fans.
It is not a 50/50 split. I have lived here nearly 20 years and have experienced everything first hand, including the growing portion of out of state residents. 100% is growing towards that though and I have noticed less shite talking for simply wearing LSU gear, but it is still there and I have people come up to me randomly just to say LSU sucks or F LSU. Hell it happened to me Honduras during Spring Break.

Correct, I live here and the number of LSU fans completely overwhelms ULL fans. Lafayette is far more an LSU towm.
