Lol these are actually two different plays.

You know, if he had not had a career of such poor games I would not worry, but he appears to be reverting to form.

Multiple times last night all Nuss had to do was tuck and run and pick of yards and he made bad throws instead….

He played very smart on the road against Clemson. Last night was not his best night and he looked like early season Nuss from last year. Not awful, but not good enough to win the SEC, etc.

The first few SEC games will tell the tale.

So, to be clear, in 2022 after the FSU and Southern game you saw the progressions with Jaden Daniels correct?
this right here. People were still calling for Daniels to be benched when LSU was 4 games in, it wasn’t till game 5 @ole miss & game 6 @ mizzou is when Daniels started to truly flourish.

You do realize he was getting blown up the middle and flushed out of the pocket all game long thanks to Chester, right? Couldn't step up in pocket, forced to run or throw off back foot way too often.

I immediately disregard anything any idiot says when they compare Joe's "jump" to JD. You prove you have no idea what you're talking about. So tired of repeating this, Joe was exceptional before we had results, the team sucked arse. Jd actually did improve expectionally well. Theres a difference, and it's even more idiotic to try to expect some fake trend.

Nuss is the prototypical kid QB caught between what his daddy is telling him to do at home and what his coach is telling him to do at practice

Agree with #1… he needs to take the 6-8 yard pass or run more readily. It’s like 20 yard strike down the field or 2 yard safety valve / throw it away with nothing in between. Take enough 6-8 yard chunks and your in favorable down/distances and the bigger plays open up.

Disagree about pocket presence and throwing mechanics. I think those are fine and seem to be better. For Nuss it’s all about learning to take what the defense gives and not trying to gain 20 yards on every play.

I seem to remember a play where he hit a receiver across the middle and took a shot right after delivering throw.

People who have never coached, played, played or even reffed games are the experts according to the Rant
