Portnoy said he would have some balls to attempt that after the season he just had. And that they would not be increasing any money. We'll see though.

Apparently, the guy who paid his NIL money doesn't want to pay it again this year. Could just be a rumor, but where there's smoke there's fire.

He took a 3 million dollar raise to go somewhere less than a hour from his home. I think most of us would’ve done the same at 17. We celebrate recruits who do this to other teams to come to LSU. In this era of football, you can’t have the scorned girlfriend mindset, you have to be open.

I don’t want to pay him what he’d cost at all. That said, of Lane thinks he’s worth it—I don’t think he will—then I’m fine with it. However, one thing not many people talk about is that Lane’s offense is very college friendly and is not known as an offense that really prepares QBs for the NFL. I’d be surprised if Underwood has real interest in us.

If he leaves, his “new” team has to pay the contract. He will leave if he wants & if another team is willing to buy the contract.

Not everybody has that clause, and you can bet your arse a team isn't going to pay that plus NIL. A player is going to really have to want to leave to go somewhere else under that clause.
