Football is the 2006 game vs Auburn. I still haven’t gotten over that game. Probably cost LSU a national title. LSU was the best team in the country when the season ended.
I really think that 2006 LSU team is the 3rd best LSU football team in my lifetime. I felt like that team was gonna win it all and that ref screw job has stuck with me ever since.
Now my day is ruined after remembering this.

1/9/12 never happened and I refuse to acknowledge it.

2016: #1 Oklahoma comes to the PMAC. We had them on the ropes for the majority of the game. IIRC, we were even up by 14 at one point in the second half. In typical Johnny Jones fashion, we don’t make adjustments, allow Buddy Hield to get hot, and lose by 2. Would’ve been a great resume win but absolutely gave that game away. Oh yeah, and that was having the #1 overall pick and 2 other future NBA players on the roster.

The way that season ended was a true debacle. The program was dead as a doornail at that point.

The year they started overturning touchdowns because of excessive celebration, LSU had a back get in and just pointed to the sky and they took away the TD over it. I just about lost my fricking mind. I think it was Charles.

Not running Jeremy Hill in the 4th quarter of the 2012 Peach Bowl to burn clock, followed by giving up a 4th and forever from Boyd, then loosing on a walk off FG.
Was at the game with my three siblings. Maddening.

What about Kentucky game les was coaching, Charles scott was going off first half- so guess what- no Charles scott in second half.
Dan Federman tip in at pmac around 1983, 8 seconds on clock, but clock didn’t start until they crossed mid court. Game theM extra 1.5-2 seconds and tip in never occurred.
John williams rolls ball down court. .5 seconds on clock. Nobody touched ball and Georgia tips up and in .5 seconds we lose

The first thing that came to mind.

Coming from behind 6 runs down in the 9th with 2 outs vs OM last year only to blow it in the 10th.

Charles Scott in the 1st half:
5 carries for 91 yards and 2 TD’s
(Final stats for game:
7 carries for 94 yards and 2 TD’s)

Charles Scott in 2nd half: (3rd quarter)
1 carry for 2 yards

OT: On 4th and 2. Charles Scott gets 1 yard to end the game. Les gives him the ball for the first time since 4 minutes left in the 3rd. Just the 2nd carry since the 1st half.

2nd half and OT:
2 carries for 3 yards

That was unbelievable.

Les's response when asked about it afterwards was great also. Something along the lines of glad it didn't happen in a competitive game.

2017 CWS- Game 2- Jake Slaughter's baserunning interference

I never have been more pissed off by anything LSU related as much as that moment. I knew right then and there that we had lost the series. To UF of all teams. Damn I think I took that loss the hardest too.

UF was the best team at the end of the season unless you’re wearing purple and gold glasses. Quit being a homer.

Music City Bowl against ND. Tied 28-28. LF7 has 11 for 143 and a 100 KO return TD. Here is our final possession before punting to ND who would go on to kick a walk off FG. I remember being so pissed off we punted that ball when we did and it only got worse from there. Give it to LF7 and try to win the game

Florida '89. Game was ending in a 20-20 tie. Ref's put three seconds back on the clock. Florida kicked a FG to win 23-20. I'm pissed for two reasons.
1) The ref's put the time back on the clock for UF to win
2) The fact that we were going to be happy with a damned TIE!
