This is clutch. If Woodward made this switch, it would sit well with a lot of fans.

When you can't get butts in the stands you lower the prices.

You think the Atlanta Falcons were having trouble drawing fans to their new stadium? Because that's where the fan friendly pricing trend started.

What is that? A $6.00 bowl of rice?
What a bargain.

The important part is beer. They’ve been ahead of the game for a while now

But then ask yourself why ULL has a 40,000 seat stadium and home attendance averaging 16,000.

I wonder how the math shakes out. What percentage of fans don't get concessions because of the price? I would imagine it is pretty high. Less profit per item might get trumped by greater sales.

While it may not always work this way, I believe the first year the Falcons did it, they increased overall sales revenue. Obviously the margins were smaller, so I don't know if they actually made more money. But I can guarantee they engendered a ton of goodwill with the fans, which helps with capturing additional spending over time.

Increased demand usually correlates with lower prices, so...

LSU and the concession vendor would be shocked how much they would sell if they did the same thing at LSU venues
