I guess Lnchbox stated it weird but why do so many people on here not understand simple microeconomics? Demand does increase as price goes down.

When you can't get butts in the stands you lower the prices.

Then LSU football and basketball should probably look into this.

The ULL crowd is so desperate to get people to attend games, I’m surprised they’re not giving food away.

Because he stated it backwards. It depends on the driving factor.

He said increased demand correlates with lower prices.

Increased demand leads to higher prices.
Lower prices lead to increased demand.

I understand now what he meant, but it would have been clearer if he had flipped the two.

shite, LSU is already selling out of water now. Can you imagine if water was only two bucks? They’d be out before kickoff.

ULL-L-L-L-L-L is a joke. They could give concessions away for free and it won't help.

Hugely great point and the bottom line is any great business knows they have to give( maybe go in the red) in certain areas to win overall. The one that refuse to believe this lose in the end. Again I’ve mentioned it as well as others a family of 4 can buy a 4K TV for the price of going to games. Someone better figure it out or that beautiful extra addition to Tiger Stadium a few years ago was a mistake. People will stay home. Good on ULL

ULL does a lot of stuff right. This is a great example for LSU to follow

What percentage of fans don't get concessions because of the price?

Me right here. Not only is it expensive, the options suck and for the most part those options are often soggy or stale

It’s really weird that some of you are flexing about $9 coke at an LSU-New Mexico St game.

Yeah..I'm sure the demand for going to ULL games is the same as LSU games

It's not about game attendance. It's about getting people to go to concessions and spending money.

No shite. If they gave it away for free they would be taking a loss on the concessions, which literally wouldn't help.

LSU was 5th in the nation in attendance for 2018.

2017 - 6th
2016 - 5th
2015 - 4th
2014 - 4th

But yeah they need to lower the price of hot dogs so more people will attend games

They need to lower the price because the product sucks and costs too much. At some point they should stop treating the fans like ATMs and start treating them like people again.

If anything ULL could use the money they get from high priced concessions, yet they are choosing to go fan friendly. Yet you find a way to be petty in a way that few people care about.....

But then ask yourself why ULL has a 40,000 seat stadium and home attendance averaging 16,000.

Same reason LSU had an 80,000 seat stadium and couldn't even fill half of it in the 90's. Or the second half of most games nowadays....and added seats to go over 100,000.
