I used to work at a magazine, and no joke we used to sit around and make these things up. We'd decide what was in the last issue we wanted to highlight again and get people to go look at the last issue if they hadn't bought it, and we'd make a letter up about that piece.
Not saying this is what happened, but I almost never read the letters in magazines anymore unless I'm in the mood for a laugh.

Sho Nuff. I've run into this a few times and its absolutely stupid. Cheer for your team, support your team but realize it is only a freaking game.
I almost had a drop some weak drunk Texans fan at a pre-season game a couple of years ago. I was walking out of the stadium wearing my staubach throwback and the group of immigrant Texans "fans" who were lit up like a Christmas tree. This dude had to be 40 years old comes up to me in my face and yells go back to dallas you suck we don't want you here. I was with a client that night and had to refrain from mopping his arse up. I told him to get out of my face and go sleep off his drunk so he could get up adn cut some lawns tomorrow. Finally his friends drug him away. Why in the world are people willing ot get in physical confrontations with complete strangers over a damn football game. seriously

Sorry for your bad experience at Tiger Stadium. I find that generally if your courtious and able to take some trash talk, things will settle as the game progresses.
Just be glad you didn't play Bamer at Tuscaloser. I have attended games at Bama and it is much worse, especially if you win. The Bamer world and self esteem are based on if their team wins and wins big. They are bad when they win, but much worse when they lose, because you have theatened their quality of life.

No way I believe this letter is based on anything factual. ULL fans have the thinnest skin, and being a fan of their school and program mandates (it must, because they all act like this) that you must view everything the state does as biased against ULL.
According to their fans, it is the goal of LSU and it's fans to destroy their school and all of it's programs -- even though they are academically "kicking our asses."
