3 straight penalties by Phillips. 45 yards. It was 40 - 24 with 4 minutes left. Likely ends up 47-24 if they have third and 25 from their 5 instead.

They were beaten badly.

They are very pathetic folks indeed. Did they miss looking at stats of the game? Not even close. Bottom line is, instead of asking for people to donate money so they can BS investigate the SEC, why don’t they focus their time and energy into getting better and joining a better conference? It’s really that simple. If you are as good as you say you are, play in a better conference. If not, then we will all just accept you like to complain and not do anything to improve your situation.

We complain about way too much shite, imo.

So let me backtrack just a bit. While I said it would be nice if we could get along with our conference, seeing as we are a founding member, I meant to imply that it’s a two-way street.

My personal grief with the SEC really falls into four categories:
- The UF hurricane debacle (spilled milk at this point)
- Cross-division scheduling (ongoing)
- Lack of transparency in officiating and enforcement of conference rules (ongoing)
- Reluctance to change/adapt (ongoing)

I think the athletic department probably has the same concerns.

Did we go overboard with our reaction to the Devin White targeting call? Probably. But it doesn’t change the fact that the conference has been woefully inconsistent with its interpretation of the rule, or other rules (e.g. Raekwon Davis).

The cross-division scheduling is an ongoing abomination that, as far as I can tell, exists only to appease Tennessee and Alabama.

The reluctance to change can be seen with the current stance toward alcohol in the stadiums, for example.

At the end of the day it takes a movement and LSU has a vote just like the other 13 members. But it does feel like a slap in the face when we are seen as a problem child even though we have been in this league for 85 years.

But putting all of that aside I would rather play in the best conference in college football than be in UCF’s shoes. If we win our conference, there’s no debating whether we are one of the four best teams in the country. They win their conference and they are left searching for conspiracies to keep them from playing with the big boys even after we beat them handily with the equivalent of a 2nd-3rd string defense.

I don’t care what UCF thinks but if it bites the SEC in the arse, I support it.

I care about one team in this corrupt arse conference, GEAUX TIGERS!
utter nonsense. The SEC is the best and strongest football conference in the nation. We were a founding member in 1932. We're damn fortunate to be part of it.

The "corruption" argument is downright pathetic. Cheating SEC office, cheating refs, biased media, etc. It's so damn childish.

Was the SEC corrupt for Tennessee and Florida in the 1990s. Florida in the late 2000s? Now they're corrupt for Bama? I guess they just rotate their corruption in favor of different teams, but never LSU, right?

It's infantile.

This isn't a conference issue only though. This has been an issue throughout the NCAAF this year. They really do need to re work the targeting rule.

I'm not going to quote the rest of what you typed but I do agree with it in general. I just think that we need to be more thoughtful on how to actually bring about the changes we want. Also, those things are a problem but they're not the reason LSU is finishing middle of the pack in the SEC in recent past. Which is why I don't understand why some want to leave.

They wouldn't even beat North Dakota State. A team that just wins championships and doesn't run around the country acting like a bunch of idiots complaining.

Facts are UCF is in a weak conference. And they do not have the physicality or depth to hang with an SEC schedule for a full season. The whole country knows it. Let them wine. Who gives a shite.

This is constant. It’s all about Milton not playing and nothing to do with the 9 LSU defenders that didn’t play. It’s ridiculous. Why play yourselves UCF fans? Bunch of children.

Us being as depleted as we were exposed them to the CFP committee. If a 3 loss LSU team with 8 defensive starters missing can still beat UCF, then the best of the best would skull drag these dudes.

If we had played a clean, crisp game, the final score would have been 56-13, realistically. In real "football" terms.

Now, I get their moxy. I respect their ability to play above their base talent level, produce some NFL prospects and win so many games, but they should, with all due respect, shut the frick up.

550 total yards vs. 250 total yards.

The 250 yards was against a secondary missing 2 all Americans and playing WR's at the CB position.

UCF fans should be proud at the way their team their team is playing the past few years. They have every right to be excited. But they need to be realistic. They would be sub 500 playing in the SEC.
