Dylan Crews hit two home runs against Central Connecticut State in the 2021 Oregon Regional.

Well, Hartford could be the next Stony Brook. :)

I was kind of bummed that Lamar lost their first game last night.

You guys need to realize that some of these p#$$ie$ couldn’t survive if they couldn’t come on here and bash LSU. The bad part is if we win the title they will probably go buy shirts and act like they were fans all along. Glad I have more to live for than these guys!

2. Only four undefeated teams left in baseball and none have played a power five school:

NC State
UVA
Wake Forest
The Gumps

Troy in the sunbelt is 9-0 I believe. Also no P5 wins

Skenes has thrown 98, 101, and 80 pitches already this season. That's a lot for three weeks into the year. Any concern about using him this much in nonconference?

Fun Fact- LSU will also probably lose a mid week game to a terrible team sometime this season

He’s gone 6 innings each outing.

The first game he threw an inning too many pitches for my taste but he’s a horse.

If anyone is looking for a random game to watch, at 11am Northeastern plays South Florida.

Northeastern normally has good pitching, but right now they have a really good outfielder named Mike Sirota. He’s only a sophomore but he’s a good pro prospect and was great in the Cape last summer.

Please go on record ranking the SEC teams now, so we can all bookmark.

No “well yeah things changed, so I wasn’t wrong”

I’m asking you to account for any predicted changes/ultimate improvements.

Rank the SEC squads for the season. Top 5ish or so.

In the spirit of keeping the fun factoids going— He is the Great-Nephew of MLB Legend Whitey Ford. Pretty nifty indeed.

I’m pretty sure he’s currently being coached by Tom Glavines brother

Their OOC is so embarrassingly bad it makes ours look tough by comparison

Richmond 3x
Tennessee Tech
Tennessee-Martin
High Point 3x
Jacksonville St
Illinois-Chicago 3x
Samford
Alabama St
Columbia 3x
South Alabama

That's their schedule before conference play

Thought this was a typo

Adding to the fun facts: Garth Brooks only hit when he played for the Padres in ST was against Mike Sirotka

"Any concerns"? As most know, his pitching coach has years of experience in the Majors. Pretty sure he & CJJ know what the frick they are doing. LSU has one of the top, if not the top, pitching labs in college baseball. Skenes has said, several times, that CWJ "is the most intelligent pitching coach I've ever talked to".

Was thinking about his pitch count as well. I get that it is hard to pull him while he is dealing so well, but we have some good arms available for relief pitching. I also get that there is only one Skenes, so tough call on pitch count. Glad we have Wes Johnson helping make those decisions.
