Two Saturday morning baseball factoids

1. Paul Skenes leads the nation in strikeouts. He was second entering the game last night.
2. These are the only undefeated teams left in baseball and none have played a power five school:

Ok so the Saturday starter is still a WIP. Iowa has a really serious pitcher in Brecht. That is the meaning in total of the loss to Iowa. Definitely NOT end if the world.

SMD, Pirate Queen, Sam1 and magician are others who only post troll content and should be ignored.
Only calling these people out bc it gets old and they bring nothing to the board. It’s literally every time they post. Maybe the post quality check admin can look at these folks. I’ll make the request to have them monitored bc I’m tired of the shenanigans. To you posters i mentioned, let it be known I’m declaring jihad on you

ETA- so I looked it up. And no. Zero wins against teams over .500. Love how you throw shade and undefeated teams. And the only team we have played with a pulse we got destroyed.

So you’re a bama fan. We will see how it plays out once you guys play some real competition. LSU is widely considered the best team in the nation for a reason. Hang in there and watch

And The Gumps won’t play a power 5 school til March 16th when they open up SEC play at Florida. Should be good and tested by then. Those Richmond and Illinois Chicago games really should pay off….

I track this every year; mutually exclusive of LSU. The power 5 comment was simply stating that they’ve all played dogs and there doesn’t seem to be an overly dominant team yet this year.

I'm not really going to make any judgements about any teams until conference play starts. Until you get to playing against similar level teams consistently in games that really really matter, it's hard for me to tell what a team is made of. I mean hell, our #2 starter at the moment is probably going to end of being a bullpen piece here in a couple of weeks.

Guess #2 is supposed to be a qualifier that doesnt include non power 5 teams. There are more than just 4 undefeated teams
