The losses are in regulation tho.

At the end of the day, there are too many possible outcomes to know or make a prediction on anything really. We can all sit here and make our arguments for who may or may not make the playoff. As of now there are 15 teams that we need to pass in order to do that. We've got a long way to go before we are even close.

I don't think a 2 loss SEC champ LSU gets in over ANY 1 loss champ from another conference. There is, however, a potential road map for a 2 loss LSU to get in over another 1 loss power conf. team. If that 1 loss comes in a conf. championship game.
Look at 2017 for reference.
Going into the conference championship game weekend 10-2 Auburn was ranked #2 in the CFP poll behind only 11-1 Clemson. That ranking was achieved by Auburn beating No. 1 Georgia then No. 1 Alabama in the course of the final 3 games of the season.
Behind Auburn in the rankings were:
3. Oklahoma (11-1) Big 12 leader
4. Wisconsin (12-0) Big 10 leader
5. Alabama (11-1)
6. Georgia (11-1)
Auburn lost to Georgia in the SEC championship game to finish 10-3 and out of the playoffs. (which allowed Alabama, for the second time in the BCS/CFP era to backdoor their way into the BCSCG/CFP without having to play a conf. championship game). However, had Auburn won it was very hard to foresee a situation where the SEC champ who was #2 going into the week was going to drop out of the top 4. Of course, it is also worth noting the Pac-12 was not in contention for a spot.
The real crime was 12-0 Wisconsin being left out in favor of Alabama after they lost the Big 10 CG to Ohio State That showed the inequity of conference championship games. Without them, both Auburn and Wisconsin are in the playoffs. But both were forced to play a 13th game...which they lost...while Alabama was rewarded for not having to play a 13th game. A game they didn't qualify for because Auburn beat them.
IMO, for LSU to get in as a 2 loss team they would need at least one conference to fall out of contention by the time championship saturday comes around (like the Pac 12 did in 2017). If that happens, it sets up a potential scenario where a 2 loss SEC champ could jump a 1 loss conference championship game loser like Georgia and Alabama were able to do once Wisconsin lost.

I wholeheartedly agree. My perfect CFP includes Texas and LSU every year.

Here is a fact for you. If Oklahoma is undefeated going into the Big 12 championship game and Texas wins out to get there. Then Texas wins the Big 12 championship, Texas is 100% in the CFP.
Let's be real, Washington ain't gonna end the season undefeated and Ohio St, Penn St, and Michigan all play each other in the regular season.

If we win out and dominate UGA in the championship, it would be hard to keep us out.
That is the only scenario in which this works.

If we win out, we simply need one conference to have an upset in the championship game so that particular conference is left out. Let's win out and make this a relevant problem to have

There is no universe where the SEC champion is not in the playoffs...period.

It is more likely than not that LSU loses another game, maybe two due to the horrendous defense. Auburn was fool's gold. No way this is a playoff team. The SEC's only chances for playoffs are Georgia and Alabama. That's it. I think the gump offense could score a lot of points on this unit. It is awful.

The SEC is really weak this year with a losing P5 OOC record. A two loss LSU will not get in over any 1 loss conf champion and maybe not even ahead of a 1 loss runner-up (e.g. 1 loss MI or PSU). So you may need two 2 loss champions in the other conferences to make it.

Oh yeah? Say conference champs are:
13-0 FSU
13-0 Oklahoma
13-0 Michigan
13-0 Washington
11-2 LSU
No universe, eh? Either a troll or stupid.

You people are the worst. Have you not watched Bama this year? They easily could have lost to Arkansas at home. They SHOULD have lost to A&M two weeks ago. They are not a good football team

Yes I have. The worst what?
