If we get the same lopsided officiating TN got yesterday we’ll have to decisively best Bama in 2 weeks. I was hoping the bias had subsided a bit but after watching that game Saturday we will have to beat the hell out of Bama to “earn” a Victory..

We will be overpowering and too much for the refs to steal this game. Stop whining and buckle up.

We know it’s real but when you see the bias towards Alabama at home it’s unreal

Already crying about the refs is just a self fulfilling prophecy. It doesn’t matter how well the game is officiated. You are going to bitch and fans for whoever loses will blame it on the refs. Just an absolutely pathetic mindset

Were you there in 2009 ? Yesterday looked like 2009. I’m trying to be totally objective. What I saw yesterday against TN was egregious and I’m no TN fan. I don’t whine. I call it the way I see it and only wish the Refs would as well.

If we beat them we would have to beat them again anyway because the system still sucks and so do a lot of the refs especially now that you can bet on "EVERYTHING"

The worst part about this 2 week stretch before Bama. People start bitching about the officials being biased towards Alabama, or how the announcers want Alabama to win, yada yada yada. Prolly the same type of people who are cursing at a 16 year old umpire in a 9 year old rec ball game.

BS!
When I turned on the game, I was hoping Alabama would win, figuring it was in our best interest if we beat a one loss Alabama team. After watching a few minutes, it was apparent to me, Refs were calling penalties on Tennessee when there was nothing to see, and ignoring infractions of Alabama.

Can we Atleast get to the week of the game before we start blaming the referees?

Well.....Texas beat them in Tuscaloosa......the refs didn't seem to help the Tide much.....if LSU plays well, we can beat them, too.....regardless of the refs....

You aren’t going to make it 2 weeks if Sunday morning you’re already talking about the refs lol

Pace yourself!

Why can’t we just pay the refs more? Tired of the excuses

. Lol- there’s a very strong chance that Bama out scores us in Tuscaloosa while they are definitely on the up swing and looking for revenge. Not a good combo.

Keep an eye on the secondary. Every Saban & K. Smart coached team will grab/mug the receivers and push that to the limit. They'll go as far as the refs let them, and have been doing it for years. Our WR's need to be ready for the this, get off the line, and use that over-aggressiveness against them by getting by them over the top. See J. Chase vs Diggs in 19.

Likewise our secondary needs to be ready to employ this too. Whomever is back there, they need to be aggressive and don't give their QB wide open looks at his receivers. Make those windows look small, and hopefully Wingo, Smith, Swinson, Perkins and company can put some pressure on him.

We got this.

I didn’t watch the second half yesterday. So what happened? TN was in control the first half and then Heupel went ultra conservative in the second is what I read.

Refs will keep Bama in it but it will take obvious corruption to give Bama the win. If refs are fair we may give Bama the biggest defeat in their history.
