Takes a good bit of maturity by a freshman to handle that kind of emotional swing. LINK

well you can have the greatest hands in the world in practice but when you continually drop easy ones in the clutch part of games you deserve to be benched. as bad as jennings was against Bama, if Quinn doesn't drop the 3rd down passes we win because they would have had zero timeouts

who the hell asks that question. i can see asking a pro that but come on man.. the kid is 18-19.

here's a better question. what have you done in the offseason that will allow you to see more catches coming your way?

To his credit, that second pass was terrible, but still one he could have made.

I noticed he has a tendency to catch the ball with his body as opposed to his hands. Hopefully Ball works with him on that.

Actually, in hindsight, the drop helped us. The chance of our offense getting to the 3 yard line on its own was almost zero percent at that point. Quinn's drop allowed us to punt it down there and have Bama fumble it. Obviously he still needs to catch the pass but in hindsight the drop was good for LSU

That's pretty harsh.

I have all the confidence he's going to get much better. But he has his work cut out for him if he wants to crack that starting lineup. He had a golden opportunity last season to establish his spot, and squandered that opportunity.

He dropped some passes, but that doesn't mean he's not good. I may be wrong, but I think I remember OBJ and Landry dropping quite a few before they started lighting things up.

If you're going to blame a player for the bama loss it would have to be our QB who obviously does not know how overtimes work.
