"Former Union Parish High School and current LSU runningback Trey Holly has been arrested, along with two other men, by the Union Parish Sheriff’s Office on a charge of attempted murder in relation to a shooting that occurred in Farmerville last week that left two people injured, one of them seriously. We will provide further details as they become available"
He is gone. Sad day.

Not good.
Maybe, maybe not. Remember a couple years ago we had a player involved in a shooting and it was determined self-defense.

Only solid info we’ve seen said he was being questioned
He turned himself in.

Throwing his life away. It’s really not hard to not shoot someone. Damn sad.
We don't know if he pulled the trigger. Only thing we know is that the police have arrested him on knowledge that he has some level of involvement with the shooting.
EDIT: took out "homicide" and replaced with "shooting"

This is why I don't go back to my hometown much. Bad things are always lurking around the corner.
I'm older now, and less prone to be in those situations, but the feeling is still there in the back of my mind.

Apples to oranges. I'm saying that wishing to God they were the same situation. This is not good, at all.

Any chance he’s not guilty?

It’s a good point. Pathetic that you use “member”, though. I shouldn’t judge. Maybe you are in middle school.

Doesn't sound like it

He doesn't necessarily need to have been the one who pulled the trigger. He could still be charged with attempted felony murder if he was involved

from Pete Thamel:
quote:
Sheriff Dusty Gates of the Union Parish Sheriff’s Office in Farmerville, La., tells ESPN that LSU running back Trey Holly has been taken into custody on three felony charges – attempted second-degree murder, aggravated criminal damage to property and illegal use of a weapon.
quote:
He’s being held on a $512,000 bond. Gates said that Holly turned himself in today, one of three arrests today tied to a shooting on Feb. 9.

Well that’s as official as it gets. Not good for the young man, but he made his own decisions.

Except Clyde was the one that called the police, stayed at the scene, and was never arrested or had a warrant issued.
