Trevor Lawrence- 527 of 804 (65.5), 6,945 yards passing, 66 TDs, 12 INTs

Joe Burrow- 621 of 906 8565 yards (68.5) passing 76 TDs 11 ints

Burrow has better stats even after having a subpar 2018 season

He’s been a good QB who played great against Bama. I can’t hate him for that.

Its pointless to compare Lawrence's true freshman & Sophmore years to Burrow's 4th & 5th year.

McShay said Lawrence would be taken over Burrow this year if he was able to be in the draft

They both have rings. Both fanbases like their guy. Their guy has one more year...

To be fair, Lawrence was splitting hella time with Kelly Bryant the first 4 games last season.

What would this LSU team have done with in the ACC?

Look. I love Burrow

But are we really going to directly compare true freshman and sophomore stats to a 4-5 year senior?

Burrow is THREE FULL YEARS OLDER!

We can enjoy it without being retarded

I admittedly have not watched much of Clemson the past 2 years other than the playoffs but against top competition Lawrence has not impressed me as much as I thought he would. Against OSU and LSU I thought he was wildly inconsistent and inaccurate. Sure he has a great arm, but that does not translate to NFL success. If him and burrow were coming out this year, I would still lean burrow. Whatever “it” is, Joe Burrow has it.

Forget the comparison to Burrow. Ronnie Bass is, quite frankly, more like Fromm when he plays a team with a pulse.

54% completion against tOSU
SUB 50% completion against LSU

He played out of his mind against Bama last year, but go back and watch his receivers ball out. To me, I've seen him excel in ONE big game. Of course, as mentioned, he hasn't had many opportunities to excel in big games. But hey, 1 outta 3 ain't bad.

You act like Burrow has been the starter. Yes Burrow is a senior but he only started for 2 years. He rode the bench at Ohio State his first 2 years.

Lawrence might’ve been taken #1 overall LAST year as an 18 year old if he’d been eligible.

LOL

So you just figure three extra years in college football practice were meaningless?

Three years of added personal maturity

Hell. Three years of male development?

Sheesh people. Burrow is phenomenal. You don't need to get stupid about it

I mean. WTF do you think these guys do when they are at practice but not the starters? Twiddle their thumbs?

You can’t hype somebody as the better player then hide behind “he’s a true soph” when he doesn’t get it done. Not saying you’re calling him the better player but most in the media have and still do, notice the ex players don’t though. Plus Lawrence will never have a 4th or 5th season to compare so by your logic you can’t compare the two ever.
