Not that he’s partisan for Butler, Duke, Michigan State or West Virginia, but in at least three of those programs, Johnson sees teams that do it the “right” way.
“What’s unique and neat for me at this time and day and age about the Final Four is you’ve got three programs that are built off substance, character, social, academics and overachieving and maximizing,” Johnson said.
He talked about Butler, Duke and Michigan State, three programs that have a long history of winning without the prototypical NBA draft picks.

Its more of him not talking about him with praise, rather than "calling him out"

I enjoy when coaches tell it like it is.

A coach that didn't even get his team in the NIT tournament at a major university in a major conference needs to just seal his lips in moments like this.

TJ doesn't care for coaches who wear velvet sweatsuits on the sidelines?

Blowing it way out of proportion. He is giving praise to 3 teams, while choosing not to give praise to another. How is he calling him out?
shite is GHEY

since huggs has got to wvu no such problems and his players have been graduating and staying out of academic problems

A few good years at West Virginia doesn't cancel out Bob Thuggins recruiting every criminal, derelict and academic flunky out there while he was at Cincinnati.

is he going to wear a coat and tie at the final four

Johnson should probably start cheating more. He left 0 talent at Stanford and the talent level at LSU has certainly fallen off a cliff

Hes just trying to add some spice to the LSU vs WVU game next season

this is complete and utter bullshite.
educate yourself:
quote:
More recently, ESPN reported a damning statistic about Cincinnati's basketball program: By latest calculations, the graduation rate for its student athletes is ... zero percent. "For [ESPN anchorman] Bob Ley to sit there and say we don't graduate anybody -- Bob Ley doesn't know" says Huggins. "If he would take the time to find out, he wouldn't say things like that."
The zero figure was misleading, claims Huggins, because the NCAA only counted scholarship athletes who entered the school as freshmen in 1991 and not the transfers and junior-college players who made up the bulk of his roster at the time. Cincinnati's media guide claims that 14 of 33 players who have completed their eligibility under Huggins also have earned their degrees.
