The kicker is I was giving mmjones87 a FREE ticket to the game........what a sellout
Masoli is going to get his arse killed in the SEC.

Not likely....there is no real incentive for Chouest to buy the team right now, other than him REALLY wanting to own the team.

-Shinn raised the asking price by $25M
-BP oil spill
-Guaranteed lockout/strike after this season
-Face of the franchise is disgruntled

It is a pretty dicey situation right now

is packing up your bags and getting the hell out of there

I'd pray we use that money to pay for a growing team smartly as we develop the young guys, like OKC did.

+1

OKC actually has quality ownership......the problem lies with our owner. We won't do anything significant until he sells the franchise to Chouest

I'm actually fine with Paul doing this. He is calling Shinn out for being the horrible owner he is.....he runs this franchise like a mom and pop general store, and Paul is finally saying enough is enough. You either sell the team to Chouest (who is committed to winning) or you don't.....but Shinn is the real problem, not Paul. I wouldn't want to play for Shinn either.

West has a really friendly contract.

I'm not referring to West's contract.....I'd like to use him for bargaining power, because he actually has trade value
Can we just add D West as well? Start fresh

His threads have nothing on mine....I've been on fire
Ole Miss really would get a lot more attention if it wasn't in the middle of nowhere.
pencil in a win for next yrs homecoming
What I have heard from people who have ties to the program is that Dooley does want the players who were involved in the physical altercation gone....but Hamilton isn't allowing it just yet because he knows more situations like this are bound to happen and he doesn't want dismissal to be the immediate ruling on everyone who screws up.

Hamiltons days are numbered there, imo.
I actually kind of believe this. Finebaum isn't as dumb as people on this site make him out to be.

You talk about the arrogance of the SEC fans.......do you not think that the SEC backs up the talk?

For the record, I like the Big 10.
Big 12......because it's a joke of a conference
I remember seeing Joe Dumars at one of the games last season.....I can only hope they wouldn't take that route.

You are so full of shite it isn't even funny. Just because the girls up there will actually talk to you, doesn't mean they are hotter.

They are extremely close.
There are a lot of people from Louisiana up in DC right now lobbying against the moratorium....we should see some progress sooner rather than later

What do yall think?

Memphis isn't even in the same league as New Orleans. Gasol would leave in a heartbeat

What a sucker bet.

West will probably opt out regardless.

I hope he does. The guy will quit when we trade CP, so what does it really matter?

Marc Gasol

He needs to be a Hornet. He would demand a fairly large contract though
