Eh. He has no path to start here. Already has 2 titles in the back pocket and likely wants to go somewhere closer to home where he can get a bunch of run for his last year.

Probably already has a degree (or will get one soon) too.

He never lived up to his HS ranking. He helped us last year on the back end but outside that, he has been wildly inconsistent. Maybe the injury slowed his career down. I think he had a nice offer coming out of HS for MLB too, he should've took it looking in hindsight.

Yeah, he had really good stuff but the injury slowed the progression down big time. He also was extremely inconsistent in his ability to actually harness this stuff.

All in all, and if everything injury wise stays equal, he probably only lost out on a couple hundred grand by coming to school. Walked away with a degree and two titles.

Not like a Mo Hampton situation or anything.

I’ve never seen a highly ranked prospect look less like a natural baseball player than Trent Carraway.

Sometimes you have a projected high draft pick that sucks but you still see some flashes of why they were ranked high. Not Trent Carraway. Everything he did just looked awkward. Stiff arse swing, borderline retarded on the base paths, and every ground ball he caught almost seemed like it was an accident.

I'm still genuinely relieved that this season is over. Damn it was hard to watch.

Anyway, good luck, baw. Hope things work out better for him somewhere else.

What was the deal with harden not getting more playing time? I thought he would play much more.

Dunno

Just another head-scratcher. Thought he looked ok vs righties. He hit the ball hard. Also, seems like he would have a good opportunity to start in '27 so another head-scratcher.

At this point I’m good with a complete overhaul. They didn’t even make the tournament. Everyone is replaceable.

I guess you never watched the first part of the season when he was starting at 3rd base.

JJ may have to talk to Lane on how to fill 80% of a roster from the portal.

Agreed, he was a very stiff and didn't have a very fluid swing or throwing motion. Everything was just brute strength and wildly inconsistent. He never looked natural or comfortable doing anything.

Look at his thread starting history. You don't want this moron running an official thread.
