Of course it doesn't. I just disagreed with someone making am excuse for a mistake last year and then a couple guys want to turn that into my being disingenuous about eating crow for this year. It's a nice disrltraction from my fantasy football losing today.

In your infinite wisdom, explain to me how you see that I've said anything negative about the job the staff has done this year. Then, explain how saying that the coach messed up one thing LAST YEAR in a response to another poster negates all of the wonderful things i said the coaching staff did last night.

you've followed LSU football closely, I assume, for at least a few years, have you not? I am assuming you have followed LSU football very closely and are aware of the issues and controversy surrounding the offense side of the ball going back over quite a few years. You followed the firing of Miles and the hiring of Orgeron closely, have you not? You know of Cam Cameron no doubt. Sometimes it's fun to watch him implode and make ridiculous claims. Most of the time I laugh, sometimes I feel sorry for him. I know he doesn't actually think at least half of the shite he posts. That's humanly impossible I believe. It's comic relief.

This is the second time in the thread when I've asked you to explain your assertions and you pull this "figure it out for yourself" garbage, presumably because you can't articulate what you want to say.
Maybe if you can't adequately defend or prove your point stop trying to make them in the first place.

He definitely should have. But Boxcar Willie is right that he backed himself into a corner when he was talking about hiring the best coordinator (only Orgeron was talking specifically about Kiffin). Once Kiffin fell through, there's no doubt in my mind he wanted to hire Ensminger, but he either didn't have the stones to pull the trigger or Alleva persuaded him to hire Canada. Either way, it was a failure on Orgeron's part.
But, he should get tremendous credit for moving on from the mistake quickly and not continue to try and make it work.
After the Canada deal, his back was against the wall this year, and I'm really pleased with how he's responded.
This staff deserves a lot of praise for the job they've done so far. Of course, the job they've done is raising expectations and many challenges are still ahead. After this start, it's going to be extremely disappointing if this team fizzles down the stretch like the 2015 team. Hopefully they can keep it going.

Yep. It shows he really is learning from his mistakes. Same as he did by hiring a quality special teams coach this year. Both changes are obvious positices for the team this year and I suspect they will continue to improve.

Pleasantly surprised and I don't think they can get enough credit for the transformation.
