My quote has everything to do with some people shifting any and all blame from the head coach of the football team, to other coaches, past and present, or players.
Now dukke, you find me one post where ree has blamed o for things that have gone wrong since he became the head coach. You know, like things that head coaches from other programs are responsible for. Things like not having his team prepared to play a game, or hiring coaches that are a bad fit. That kinda shite.

You know I like you more and more. If all people were fair like you are, then most wouldn't mind the criticism.
When good things are happening, they should be brought to light by the same ones who've given the team and staff and hard time all offseason and even still. Most of the criticism is warranted but a whole bunch of it is also manufactured BS.
It's good to see people like you who have been critical, when deserving, also eat crow and give props when it's due. I know for a fact that every SEC team is looking at this program very seriously and not as some laughing stock. The media seem to have changed their tune as well.
Respect is earned but anyone still saying that this staff hasn't earned its due respect are the joke. They still have plenty to earn and accomplish but everyone can see that this team is for real. All the injuries on within the OL, the suspensions, Chassion being out for the season, having to play young DBs, having all these new coaches, new offensive system, and Burrow being fresh to the program.
All these constantly moving parts and still has this team in a position to make a playoff. If that isn't a testament of his abilities to run a high profile program successfully then idk what is. He's doing an amazing job IMO. Props Coach O and staff!!

LSU did not have the talent to go 11 and 2 last year. Our main running back was hurt. We only had 11 total offensive lineman. We traveled to an SEC game with 4 defensive lineman. Lacatour played every snap of a couple of SEC games. We had a limited QB. We had an Offensive line that could not pass protect on 3rd down. We played 20 true freshman. Playing 20true freshman is a very good indicator of how bad our talent and depth had gotten Anyway.

To believe that you have to believe that LSU wasn’t talented enough to beat a SBC team in Tiger Stadium. That’s just silly.
LSU last season was a poorly coached team in some games. My staying that doesn’t mean that I hate coach O. One would have to be blind not to recognize that there were coaching staff problems on the LSU football team last season.
This season that doesn’t seem to be true. It appears that whatever problems there were on the staff last year have been corrected. This year‘s staff is to be congratulated on their effort to this point in time.
Personally, I don’t understand why that should be so difficult to understand or hard to admit.

I could watch Burrow's film at OSU and tell he was better than Etling and probably better than what we have had for a long time.
