Deculus neither Magee are suited to play tackle. Too slow.

Both are guards

Hope this means he stepped up. This guy was supposed to be the crown jewel of the recruiting class.

And that's saying something bc this class was loaded and many consider it to be the most underrated class in sec history

They need to get some reps for whoever the backups are, especially at a position as thin as center is on this team. Unless they see Cole Smith as the #2 center.

I doubt Traore has improved that much.

Deculus still has wrist/hand issues.

I think Decaulus moving to guard is the best thing for him...even if he doesnt play this year

they need to get Cushenberry's arse outta there.

Coach just said Cushenberry is the starting center on his radio show. Added that he is smart and knows the position and is doing a very good job.

I'm not sure which Rantard started the Cushenberry hatred on the board but it is unfounded.

That could either mean Traore has stepped up Or Cushenberry sucks

Stunning insight right there

Oh lawd, let’s just hope Chaisson is that good.

Chaisson had that boy “ shook” in the spring game.

RT was basically a revolving door last Saturday so I don’t know if Traore can be much worse

I can't figure out where it comes from either. I'm on record saying I think he'll be fine... not spectacular, but fine otherwise.

The idea that every move with personnel is because of Cush just blows me away. Yes, he is a question mark. But the idea of him running with the #1's all camp all the while they were trying to get him out of there is insane. If he's bad enough where they want to do a complete reshuffling to replace him BUT STILL kept him practicing as the starting C is both contradictory and against all coaching principles. If he was that bad someone else would be in there learning while he died on the vine (became "depth").

I still say our biggest problem, by far, waaaay far is still RT. And lookit, Charles did good at OT for a good portion of the year. But he needs to get better too also to be a "top SEC OT". He's a promising So in the process of realizing that promise. But at the end of the day to give us a good comfort level on the blind side Charles actually needs Bruiser next to him. Having some experienced help is necessary until he takes that next step. People forget that; Charles isn't.... YET... top of the line. He will be. Probably this season. But you can't risk your LT, Brumfield needs to stay there for that reason.

Did he play in the scrimmage?

I want to say this is the 4th straight practice he's missed.

Well magee play well when hecwas in there last year, especially the Auburn game, so if traore is in the mix he at least stepped up to magees level.
