Everything Floyd is throwing is high.
Also no second pitch is going to be issues for him down the line. Hope he gets out of this jam but gotta think it's his last hitter/inning

As I said earlier in this thread, lance Lynn, who has been in the majors for roughly a decade or so as a starter that goes deep into games, throw 93% fastballs.
The radio announcer just saying fastball doesn’t say if it’s a 4 seam, 2 seam, cutter, or sinker.
My guess is he throws a high spin 4 seam and is why he works up in the zone so much. But if he has other fastballs and can change speeds with them, he can succeed.

If Floyd could develop a second pitch he was be extremely dangerous in SEC competition. Let alone if he developed a third pitch.

99% are 2 seamers. 1% may be 4 seamers. Nothing he throws hard really cuts or sinks.
