According to The Advocate, the top five positions most up for grabs are quarterback, cornerback, offensive line, inside linebacker and kicker.

Has 5 positions (6 if you include TEs). What a real narrowed down list.

Because the entire Oline is up for grabs.

WR and DL are our strongest position groups.

I think our OL will be middle of the pack of the SEC. Nothing crazy. which could hinder our QB and RB play.

I do think Emery breaks 1200 yards - he's a grown arse man at this point, can't wait to watch him. I really hope stays healthy

I hope whatever QB we have can make throws with ease.

Never good when offensive line and qb are up for grabs.

Cb too for that matter.

Safety is an important position and it’s not mentioned so it must be a strong area

I am way more worried about the QB position and the OL group.

It tells you more where there is equal talent. That talent can be real good or not so good. It just says that many players are equal at those positions.

Both were way up for grabs going into 2018. We had a very good year, though.

Could go either way. Either you have tons of depth at the position where it's competitive and hard to pick a starter(probably what it is at QB) or you lack depth and nobody stands out(probably what it is for oline).

I’m not worried about QB because I think he’s having a good problem there since all of the QBs seem to be performing pretty well.

Now Oline and CB is a whole different story

Wouldn’t this be our weakest, not strongest? Although I wouldn’t put QB in that group.

I agree with you TrueTiger, we have Jay Ward, Foucha, Sage, and Derrick Dillon (might be wrong here? maybe a CB?), so two and a half veterans there.

I still can’t believe we had a kicker leave who could have played two more years

I mean Brad Wing did it but he had a roo in the pouch.

I think this is a list of our weakest positions with the exception of QB. It means we don’t have a lot of proven SEC starting experience in these groups. Actually it’s kind of true for QB too.

A lot of this has to do with Dellinger and possibly Emory Jones on the oline and Banks and Welch at CB not participating in spring practice. So it’s not necessarily a sign of weakness but needing to know where some guys with a ton of potential fit in the rotation.
