Never good when offensive line and qb are up for grabs. Cb too for that matter.
A lot of this has to do with Dellinger and possibly Emory Jones on the oline and Banks and Welch at CB not participating in spring practice. So it’s not necessarily a sign of weakness but needing to know where some guys with a ton of potential fit in the rotation.
Both of these posts could be accurate. True, it’s not a good sign having so many unknowns at key positions, but it’s also true this is not necessarily a weakness. At the moment the strength of these two positions at LSU are unknown.

Typically when a position is NOT up for grabs it is a position of strength. Let’s say burrow could have and did return after winning the natty. Do you believe his that the QB position would have been up for grabs?

Running back is apparently not up for grabs but I wouldn’t necessarily call it an area of strength. Guess it can apply both ways.

If LSU can run the ball downhill, then they win 9 games.

I think our OL will be middle of the pack of the SEC. Nothing crazy. which could hinder our QB and RB play.
I do think Emery breaks 1200 yards
our OL will hinder our run game but Emery will run for 1200 yards in a crowded backfield? Does not compute. I think our OL will be top 4 in the SEC if we get good to great Center play. If we get pushed in the backfield again this year, it will be a bad year.

No.
Could have a bunch of really good players at one positions and a bunch of below average players at a different position. No correlation to if the position is strong or not.

Next year our Oline will be phenomenal
Boy I really hope so.
I love that Will Campbell has stepped up at LT, but what does that say about our upperclassmen? Is Will just THAT GUY, or is this an issue with our backup OL's?
