I’d move Jones & Tre up
But I don’t really remember Berry for whatever reason

Tre Morgan too low. And we wouldn’t have ‘23 without him making one of the greatest plays in the history of the CWS

I know seems like everyone forgets Berry because it was Jay's first year but he was a good player.

But how many home runs did each hit under JJ?

9 Digiacomo

Too low IMO

Berry was a pretty big liability defensively so I gotta drop him below guys like Jones and Curiel.

I'll go with
Crews
White
Morgan
Milam (some projection here)
Jones
Curiel
Berry
Dickinson
Doughty
Frey

BTW thanks for a new topic OP

Forgot about this guy. He’s been a bit of a disappointment at the pro level. As has Crews.

You can throw Cade Beloso into that mix

For being drafted so high berry still hasn’t made it up

Plus he’s with marlins which should have been doable

Milam might possibly be the best overall SS to ever play at LSU. Hes a way too far down this list, but I think the players are correct and the order just needs work.

You can only think of 8 players better than Gio during the Jay Johnson era?

Gio only played when another OFer was injured.

Stanfield was a better OFer. Dickinson was a better player. Heck, Mason Braun, and every catcher since the start of the Jay Johnson era has played better than Gio.

If you're talking pure defense then Tre' Morgan should be in the top 2. And arguably #1.

Same can be said for Milam.

Bregman? Career avg around 330 and perfect fielding in 14 985 in 15 that's a pretty great career
