I felt we had to sweep Mizzou or Auburn and take 2 from the other (win 5 out of 6). I hate that we pissed 1 away today, but winning the next 4 is doable.

I like the optimism, but let’s be real. Your season is already over. You needed to sweep Mizzou and Auburn and then win 2 of the next 3 series jsut to jsut to 13 wins. You’re not getting to 13 wins now. Sorry!

Played ourselves into such bad shape that at this point essentially the next 6 games make or break the season. Need to go on a 6-game winning streak with a sweep over Auburn going into #1 A&M series. That puts us at 30-16 (8-13) with A&M, @Bama and Ole Miss left.
Anything worse than that and we’d need to miraculously beat A&M and sweep the final 2 series.

Honestly the schedule isn’t that bad but it’s just foolish to think we are going to capitalize on it. It’s still possible.
Every game when one unit steps up we can almost surely count on another or both units to derp and frick up. There is no rhyme or rhythm. If our hitting comes to play you can almost count on an extra two errors and a grand slam

Friday was fun while it lasted
But yeah, this season is toast. You finally get an ace performance from Jump and get Holman on game 2, against a lesser opponent, and we drop game 2 anyway.
You can't blame the bats, Kling and Milam both doubled and scored, Braswell goes 2 for 3, and White Travinski and Jones all homered. You need to win when that happens.

The two teams with worst SEC record eliminated from SEC tournament. As if yesterday that is LSU and Auburn.
