I would pitch Skenes tomorrow then let him rest. Same with Floyd the next game.

I believe tomorrow would be Skenes normal amount of days rest before he pitches so I would guess JJ sticks to keeping him in rythm...

No matter what you pitch Skenes tomorrow and then follow that up with pitching Floyd. Keep everything the same.

Pitching Floyd on Thursday then not again until the Sunday after next isn’t a good idea. Floyd seems like he wouldn’t do well with that long of a layoff.
Skenes Thursday then Saturday after next in the regional.
Floyd Saturday hopefully then Sunday after next in the regional.
This tournament has let you set your regional rotation in order with Hurd, Skenes, and Floyd.

tell me you don't understand keeping players in routine for post season play without actually saying it
Skenes throws tomorrow. If LSU wins tomorrow, they won't play again until Saturday and you don't want him going short rest for regionals.

I wouldnt move up Floyd, no. But it would be nice to be able to throw off tomorrow (Money/bullpen), throw Skenes Saturday and Floyd Sunday, as that's when they should pitch in the regional (6 days rest 
)

Tell me you dont understanding our pitching plan for the regionals without telling me you dont understanding our pitching plan for the regionals.
If Skenes throws Saturday he will not be on short rest for his regional start. We are not throwing the most dominant college pitcher in recent history vs a 4 seed

You don't have to do anything. You're basically set
LSU is going to be a national seed. Somewhere from 2-4. Whether ypu get 1 win or win the whole damn thing, your seed might not change anyway.

You keep your ace in a routine. Pitch count should be set before the game starts but taking a week off for him isn’t the same as other players or positions.

Except for the fact that if we draw a Number 4 seed that doesn’t have a true elite starter, we absolutely should not start Hurd on Friday.
