If its Arkansas then it should be Skenes, but what if A&M pulls out the win? Would you pitch Floyd and save Skenes for Friday?

imo skenes shouldn’t pitch at all in this tournament. he’s been throwing a lot of pitches and could benefit from a week off

Skenes should pitch. I would still keep him on a short pitch count though. No need for him to throw 100 pitches this week.

You want your ace to keep his rhythm. Certainly a lower pitch count than normal, but you still throw him

You throw Skenes with a pitch count of say 75. No reason for him to go throw 115 pitches.

Not in the SEC series when LSU has played on Thursdays.

No you let Skenes go as normal and keep him on a low pitch count. Maybe 70-80 pitches.

Same thing with Floyd in third game.

This tournament is useless and can exhaust pitching if you make a deep run. I’d like to win but losing almost benefits you for resting arms for regionals

It's going to be Skenes regardless of who we play to keep him on his routine. He pitched last Thursday, so he will pitch tomorrow

Taking a pitcher off his routine right before the NCAAT starts is a terrible idea. You don't give a load management day off in the postseason.

Shouldn’t we try to flip flop Skenes and Floyd?
Skenes is not pitching game 1 of the regional. Maybe Floyd will, who knows.

No you have to pitch him you don’t want him out of a scheduled routine and be cold in a regional you
Pitch him to keep him on a regular schedule

Skenes will be be pitching Saturday next weekend barring something unforseen correct? Maybe you rather throw him Friday or Saturday instead of tomorrow.

Pitch Skenes. Only because it's Thursday and we won't play Friday if we win.
