Monken seemed to walk back his initial comments while speaking to the media on Tuesday. "One of our staff had said that they had gotten a text. I should've followed through with it. Maybe they meant someone from their staff. I was just making light of it. I was really not trying to make a big thing of it. It was just like, man, what is this world we've come to?"

To be fair to Monken, I assumed that this is what he meant by that. He very much said it in a joking manor.
Let's not act like LSU has any moral high ground this week. We're toeing the line of right and wrong, but morality is not where everyone's outrage is coming from. They are all just pissed that LSU's transfer portal class is extending its already 1st place lead. I'd be mad, too.
This will all pass when football starts, which is thankfully very soon.
