They’re missing a major piece to this… Saban was able to get any coordinator that he wanted to come to Alabama… He literally had his pick of the litter anytime that he wanted. And, yes, a big part of that was because of who he was… But the other part is because of what Alabama was…Kiffin will have the same thing at LSU… You don’t have that luxury when you’re at Ole Miss. As a father, I believe the right way to go about that is to put the question to your child and ask them…” what are you trying to accomplish? What are your goals?” The way that he answers that question would determine the guidance that the father gives… you can’t tell someone what to do… They have to make that decision for themselves… But you can certainly help to guide them through the decision-making process by making sure that they’re focusing on the right things…

Have you ever heard of a non disclosure agreement (NDA)? It means you are legally bound not to divulge any information. Very common when confidentiality is the priority. I would imagine that if it is “done” then a handful of people have that information and all were required to sign an NDA.
McAfee said you’re allowed to be happy somewhere basically telling him stay where you are… Reese Davis said you know they’re not gonna build a statue of you at LSU or Florida but they would all miss… Desmond Howard is just… Desmond Howard and Herbstreit said if it were him he would stay… And then save and chimed back in to say that the last three coaches won titles at LSU… It’s a place where you can win titles… our recruiting class is usually at the top whereas Ole Miss does not have that same reputation for strong recruiting classes… And that you can’t just rely on the transfer portal every year to build your team… pretty strong messaging

But after yesterday/today I kind of thought we were closer than this to be honest. Seems like he’s still contemplating two offers. I was kind of hoping a decision had been made on his end and I’m not sure I feel it has been based on the wording in the report…

I can’t wait to kick his arse every year with all of this trolling/teasing/tweeting. It’s just fuel. Ole Miss has always been irrelevant. I’m indifferent to them. We expect to beat them every year and we should. Sure, they’re on a nice little run. But they’re still Ole Miss and they will always be Ole Miss. If he stays, he clearly doesn’t realize that. But he will. They will never be us. And every time we play them, it will be personal. The hate will run deep. I hope he comes here but I will truly, look forward to playing them every year if he doesn’t come. And I hope we run it up every damn time.

They wager on the post…over/under on upvotes/downvotes, props on number of comments, etc…I imagine there is a small ring of them and they try to one up each other. I think the same goes for other posters who are college age but for them it is probably a drinking game as opposed to financial wagers. They are here for their own entertainment

Jimmy Sexton is Franklin’s agent. It could be that Franklin was waiting for confirmation that the LSU job was definitely not going to be available before accepting the Virginia Tech offer

But I haven’t laughed so hard and so often in a long time… The comments and GIFs when there is a hint of good news are absolutely hysterical. I know that some people on this board post some ridiculous things…but to those who are posting legitimately funny responses… thank you!
The only thing I’m skeptical about is the son enrolling after Thanksgiving break. That’s a little hard to believe…
