Only thing I remember was about some disputed land in Madisonville. Someone owned it and the Blossman's came in claiming prior ownership. I don't know how much or if any of it is true. All I am saying is that rumor was out there on the street. He might be the greatest guy in the world, but there are ppl that used to say they used shady business practices.

Jay is a few years older than me. He is more friends with my wife than me because they were/are in the same baking industry. My younger brother was roommates with Jay's younger brother at LSU. They are still very good friends. I never in 35 years heard these kinds of rumors. In fact just the opposite. The family's business savvy is almost legendary in the area in terms of O&G, banking and brewing.
