I just cannot see jimbo AND aggie culture managing the egos about to go nuts on their football team. Seems a majority of us have experienced career jobs in which new hires come in at relatively high pay… seniors, juniors and sophomores are not going to be ALL IN with the handful of prima donnas certain to populate this aggie recruiting class
My thoughts are unchanged whether these young men received 50K NIL deals or 500K NIL deals… Some unpaid sophomores and juniors about to sort some shite out

Their class is the kind of class that typically results in a championship when they are juniors. The questions is: with NIL and the transfer portal, can they keep this class intact while adding some solid pieces over the next few years?

Jimbo's an idiot but he's not stupid. There needs to be an arm's length between NIL and recruiting for appearance sake.
At the same time, if he isn't feeling it already the heat is on full blast. They've paid for the best recruiting class ever and it's all on him to deliver. He probably knows he's the weak link in their shite show.

I don't think they'll ever do very much, regardless of who they buy, because of booster interference, with NIL it might(hopefully ) make it even worse

Mark my words, Max never SNiffs the starting position. That was all about getting Jake!

"That's what I was telling all the dipshits on the SEC Rant yesterday."
SEC Rant has an even higher % of 18 and under Attention W'ing VGT (Virgin Geek Troll) "No Lifers" than does this place.
It's nothing but obsessive-compulsive trolling of LSU.
One SEC Rant nut has about 10 Alters. (Chick and Admins know it and do nothing)

8-4/9-3 no longer cuts it anymore because those bagmen will DEMAND 10 wins seasons at a minimum moving forward. They play in the hardest division in the hardest conference in all of CFB. Players won’t get the money/PT they were promised and transfer out/quit/become a distraction.
Just imagine what college football is going to be like when you hear the announcers say things like-
"That is just not the level of play you expect from a $150, 000/yr lineman."
"2 year and $200,000 and he still hasn't seen the field yet."
"Who would have thought that the least paid player on the field would have 3 interceptions this year".

THIS.. makes him look way more guilty.. he knows everyone else and his brother knows what’s going on here..he’s still trying to suffice his 75 million contract he received to go 8-4 and chicken shite out of a bowl game he probably would have lost also this year..this dude is nothing more than a used cars salesman who wants to be a big dog but is consistently known as a MUTT…
He’s not very shrewd at all. The best he could have done is blow it off or make light of it. Going on a pissy tirade just makes him look that much more guilty.

Nobody with a brain thinks money has nothing to do with what happened to A&Ms recruiting this year. Jimbo is just going to fight like hell to deny it so that the rest of the team doesn’t revolt.
Thats the big issue with paying recruits. New guys all show up with new maroon chargers and huge bank rolls. Its only human nature for Upper class men to want their charger and bankroll. I see some huge issues for Jimbob and the Aggies.

Yep. The Christmas/New Years holidays are usually pretty peaceful though.

Here's the Aggies' central conceit:
That some of the best high school players in the country -- kids who also have the opportunity to go to places like Alabama, LSU, Georgia, Texas, Ohio State and Oklahoma -- would choose instead to go to school for three or four years in College Station, Texas.
I know some of you clowns like to disparage Baton Rouge, but BR is London or Paris compared to College Station.
The campus is like a military installation. There are few trees, certainly no Quadrangle-type space. The one green area is a barren piece of land called the "Drill Field." (of course). Their "Quad" is pavestones.
They have quite a few parking garages, though. That's always attractive.
There are lots of memorials around campus for dead Aggies. That's their thing: honoring dead Aggies. That bonfire tragedy from a few years ago has a memorial with a prominent place on campus. Aggies have been known to kneel and cry at the spot.
It's just a weird place, with a weird coach and no winning football tradition to speak of.
I wonder how those recruits are going to feel when they wake up one morning in September and realize that their mamas have already spent all the NIL money and they're stuck in College Station.

I don't care if they signed 32 5* studs, they've got no QB which is the most important position by far
Georgia literally just won with a shite qb, choking coach, and loaded roster. Bama won titles with bum qb’s. This isn’t the NFL. Bring in top classes and you will win.
Jimbo got Christian Ponder and EJ Manuel drafted in first round, fricking Kellen Mond got drafted, and won a title with a total head case and got that head case drafted first overall. Oh and he has a stud qb coming in with this historic recruiting class. And they been bringing in decent classes last few years.

Really....I did not think Max Johnson was a bad quarterback...He was no Joe B...He wasn't even Mettenburger, Hodson, or even Danny Etling...He was more Marcus Randall or Anthony Jennings...Now, I said all that, but I also have to be honest and say he gave me the greatest feeling last year on the last play of the year...winning TD Pass to Jaray Jenkins...Thanks for that Max.....

For a bunch of people who think the Aggies are a joke, and Jimbo sucks and will be fired, and the Aggies still won’t win shite, this board sure does seem obsessed with them and make thread after thread about them.
Personally, I wish LSU was dropping bags bringing in this kind of talent.
