First off everyone is entitled to their opinion and who the hell are you to tell anyone to shut up. It's a forum and open to everyone's opinion. Personally I have never cared for BK and probably never will, but I still support LSU. I don't have the power to hire or fire a coach, I'm just an alum and fan and with that I can voice my displeasure anytime I wish

Hold on, you said this last week:

quote:

This game will show if Kelly has learned from his mistakes in 2022.

Now you’re saying this:

quote:

we need to win the next two games and not drop any of the later season games against bad teams.

That post is clearly about being better prepared for the Arkansas game in 2024 as opposed to 2022. That is not the only factor in him being an elite coach

If you want to go down that road, the team was not prepared in the first half. 6-7 false starts, procedure penalties, and poor clock management to end the half. The difference was Weeks made a big play in the second to start the avalanche.

I'm not sure why some people need Kelly to be universally loved and thought of an elite coach. It's about LSU.

Not clear at all

We started out 13-0 and led 16-7 at half. Only the results matter, right?

Had them ready to start the 2nd half too. Nice.

Constructive criticism of CBK is fine. But the morons who call for his firing or suggest he'll never "win anything" at LSU are the ones who are clueless, IMO.

Why? We are standing with expectations of a Championship. Isn't this the season of "Judgement"?

Please. Beating a trash Arkansas team doesn’t give you credit. He needs to fix the continued lack of discipline his teams display. False start 8 times in college station and you are toast.

I never post. I simply enjoy reading. However these road game wins in the SEC are humongous recruiting wins and we just have to keep on watching the boys continue to improve. The hiring of Baker has to be what elite coaches do. Fix your problem and gain momentum.

CBK aint proved shite yet. Coach O is still superior in terms of results. I'll wait and see and hope he can prove his critics wrong but we aint won shite yet.

The team is progressing pretty much just as he would explain when asked questions at his coaches show.. he has been very clear about things like not buying the top high profile guys and developing players that have the right skills and attitude.. he is clear on the lack of execution and how we may see it at one place but was caused by slips ups on other side of field.. his better as a sum of the parts than individual parts have been a theme from the beginning..

I was starting to slide off the bk saddle but am now back on it high and center..

BK is great...always knew he'd turn the program around...

But frick!

He still needs to learn to defer after winning the toss!

Well, that's not true.

quote:

Coach O is still superior in terms of results.
O lucked into a Natty with a defensive coordinator he inherited, an offensive coordinator that was already on staff, a passing game coordinator discovered by the offensive coordinator, and a QB who was coming to LSU in spite of Orgeron.

But to be honest, I don't judge coaches on their results as much as their process. Kelly's process is first class. Orgeron did not have a process. He had a binder that turned out to be crap.

I've posted several times since BK has been here that he will win at least TWO NC's if he stays 10 years.

My logic?? Two ABSOLUTE MOTHERFLUCKING IDIOTS won titles here. And neither one can get hired as Istrouma's hc.

BK is a way better coach than less or the cookie monster.

He makes sense to me I was in Fayetteville. Several players hugged him. That tells me they have bought in to the system. Nuss was first and I think he leads this team by example. He stayed knelt down praying for close to 5 minutes. I’ll take all day everyday!!!!

Some people are just never going to like him but no coach is above criticism.
